Just wanted to take a moment to introduce myself as a longtime Eagles fan. I started following the NFL around 1979/1980, back when the Eagles happened to be one of the teams frequently shown on TV. Growing up in Toronto, it was basically a matter of watching whichever teams you could catch on TV—and luckily, I ended up connecting with the Eagles.

It wasn’t as easy to stay informed back then—no internet, no streaming, and definitely no access to every game—so being a knowledgeable fan took a bit more effort than it does today.

I’m not sure why it’s taken me this long to join an Eagles forum, especially since I’ve always loved watching and talking sports. Over the past year or so, I’ve gotten more into the details of the team by listening to podcasts like Eagle Eye and Birds 365. They’ve helped me go beyond just being a Sunday viewer and dive deeper into roster discussions, team strategy, and all the other things that make following the Eagles even more fun.

Really looking forward to chatting with everyone here and continuing to grow my love for this franchise. Glad to be part of the community!
 

So as most of you will know I’ve provisionally booked for my Missus and I to come to Philly for the Super Bowl (if we get there).

Where would be the best bars to watch the game? So we can book in advance to avoid disappointment.

If you have a location, please try to be as precise as possible: please try to give the name of the bar, the full address, how loyal they are to the Eagles or all Philly sports teams, and other defining characteristics or important information.

We will split the list up between Philadelphia bars, Philly sports bars, Eagles bars, and Philly sports/Eagles sympathetic bars

Philadelphia bars provide a home away from home for Delaware Valley natives not only for all four Philly teams and any college teams, but also provide Philly foods.  These types of bars are typically run by people from the Delaware Valley that opened a spot to welcome others from the Delaware Valley.

Philly sports bars are bars that make it a point to always show all games for any or all of the Philadelphia major league teams: Eagles, Phillies, 76ers, and Flyers.  Commitment to showing local college teams may also be included.

Eagles bars are bars that are committed to always showing the Philadelphia Eagles games.  There may not be a commitment to showing any of the other Philadelphia teams, and may have loyalties to other teams in other sports.

Philly sports/Eagles sympathetic bars are bars that are not Eagles sports bars or Philly sports bars, and may show some neutrality, but do try to show Eagles games or other Philadelphia teams as much as possible, which can result in a congregation of Eagles fans/Philly fans to watch games together.

I was a member of the old EMB, but i couldnt remember my logon information so I had to create this new account. I've been living down here for about ten years now. I work for Uber and Lyft so I do a lot of business for the sports complexes. People get mad when they see my Eagles jersey on game days but F em.

I tell anyone wearing a Cowboys jersey that i cant take them. ( just joking of course) 

I saw theres a Eagles bar on the west side of Houston but its a one hour drive from where I live, so I dont go there. Just checking to see if anyone else is down here in "Cowboy / Texan country" 

I am flying to arlington in december from Hawaii to see the Eagles play the cowboys,

Does anyone know of it is possible to get to the stadium early and wait for the players to arrive to get autographs???

I have the christmas album and a Hurtz Jersey that I want to get autographed. Is it possible to wait outside At & T Stadium to ask for autographs and if so where do the players enter the stadium from? Any info will help. Im a apprentice construction and this is a lifelong and once in a lifetime experience for me. I want to make the most of this oppurtunity. I bought a Mexican nacho libre mask that has the Eagles on each side of the mask and its green white and gold. Lol like a Philidelphia Ray Mysterio. Ill also have my Eagles hardhat on and cant wait to be at Row 6 C137!!!!! Any information about this appreciated!! Please help!!
