Two good wins on the road.  Jones for 1st Star of the game as he made many saves to keep them in the lead to the end.  Nice to see some grit and resiliency from this team so far.  They'll have a big test vs the Flames who are playing well having just shutout the Pens 4-0.

The 2 best 1st period scoring teams and it's 0-0 with just a few minutes left.  And very little shots from either team as well.  A tight checking game so far.

Flyers following the script and getting outplayed to start the 2nd period.

1-0 Flames on a PPG.  That's what happens when you allow a player to stand right in front of the net waiting to just tap it in without any resistance.

Flames have had 2 PPs this period and 3 for the game.  Flyers being outshot 12-0 in the 2nd period so far.

Flames cash in on their 2nd PP for a 2-0 lead.  They're 2-5 on the PP.  Flyers had a couple chances to clear the puck and flubbed it which led to an easy tick-tack-toe goal into an empty net.

Couts and TK with a 2 on 1 and Couts gets stoned.  Flames G has 2 SOs in 5 games, looking to make it 3 in 6.  Damn.

Just got home to watch the OT and they lose on a wrap around video replay goal.  It did look like it went over the line.  Hart makes the initial save, but then lets his pad slide back into the net taking the puck with it.  At least they got a point, but it always sucks losing to the dbag Pens.

Lol, 14 goals in the last 7 games and 5 were in one game. Everytime they shoot, I just assume its going high or wide. They couldn't score in a ****house.

Same old Flyers, same old PP.

Totally inept.

Big comeback win on the road vs a top team tonight.  Hart with 39 saves.  Flyers were -12 in the face-off battle which is a big difference since they are one of the best in the League.

Stars with the opening goal off a deflection out in front.  Nothing Jones could have really done there.  Flyers looked like they were on the PK when it was 5v5.  WTF?  Could see the goal coming the way they chased the play and were behind most of the time.  Could be the effects of back-to-back games, but utter lack of urgency and intensity there.

Now going on their 2nd PP.  First one looked decent, but nothing to show for it.

Totally can't see where the puck is.  If it's under his pad, since the pads are black (Why the F would they let a goalie wear black pads when the puck is black?) you can't see ish.  No goal for the Flyers.  They've had a few chances and have come close, but nothing to show for it yet.

After a tough hard fought game the night before vs CAR they just didn't have the legs to keep up with DAL last night.  They had their chances in the 1st period, but couldn't convert and then the effects of having played the night before set in and DAL was able to skate around them.

Shocker

What a great pickup this was. I'm sure they'll continue to keep the injury secretive. Hey look on the bright side, only 5 more years on his contract. <_<

Honestly it’s the flyers own fault. Everyone knew he was injury prone. What they gave up to get him wasn’t the issue. Was the amount of years left on the contract and him not being able to stay healthy 3 of the last 4 years.

I can’t argue that.

Suppose to be a Flyers game at 7pm tonight. But they’re not playing.  Anyone know what’s up?

It was delayed, I believe due to the induction ceremony for Tocchet/Holmgren

The shot differential isn’t good.  While the Flyers are within a shot, most of those came on 3 failed power plays.  Even strength, they just aren’t creating opportunities.  The Flames have it locked down.
