QAnon in Congress

Recommended Posts

Don't worry. Just like the far left politicians we're told don't have any influence, the majority of moderates will prevail.

We don't want to panic over a few people with radical ideas right?

;)

You’re comparing people who want a larger social safety net with people who believe the U.S. government was behind 9-11.

Green New Deal, ban all guns, reparations, encouraging people to riot or harass Republicans in public and at their homes, allow illegals to vote, defund police...

And speaking of 9/11, no big deal, "some people did something."

And liberals here have said they don't agree with all the far left ideas, but downplay it because they are young, new, don't have influence and the moderate majority will keep things just fine.

But that same logic doesn't apply when it's the other party.

Omar said that in the context of people attacking Muslims after 9-11.  Pretty sure she thinks it was Osama Bin Laden and Al Qaeda who were responsible though.

I have no idea who that is. Also no idea who/what QAnon is

I hope you don't think the people who believe 9/11 was the government are only republicans

She just won the Republican primary in her congressional district in Georgia.

This is as extreme a "devil's advocate" argument you can make. You really should look into the things QAnon believes.

The point being:  Do a few people in Congress have influence or not? Or only when it's something that bothers you on the other party?

They're wackos. Not arguing that.

These aren't conspiracy theories though. The dems actually want to implement them and have told voters to do those things

US Vice-President Mike Pence with members of the Broward County, Florida SWAT team on November 30, 2018; the man at the left of the image is displaying a red and black "Q" patch used by believers of the QAnon conspiracy theory. The photo was tweeted, removed, and then substituted in Pence's feed.

Seriously, the ‘’guy’’ who posted this

just this morning is mocking other people’s conspiracy theories.

I’m not mocking all conspiracy theories.  Just the ones you believe in.

honestly, yes. this was my first thought.

given the number of crackpots in the world at large, I'd be surprised if 5-10 of the 435 members of the house at any one time weren't also crackpots.

I think it's an embarrassment to the party. but I don't think their crackpot ideas are going to get much traction.
