Will you Accept your New President?

Time to put up or shut up CVON.  I'm here to say that if the country elects Joe Biden next week, that I will both accept and support him as the president of this great country.  Even if I disagree with his politics, I want what is best for the American people and I will accept that voters chose a different path than I wanted.  Obviously, I will critique his decisions that I disagree with over time, but, I will also give him credit where he deserves it.  That being said, short of proven, major election fraud, I will not question our electoral process, state that he is not a valid president or suggest that I do not support his success at any time. 

My question is, will the Anti-Trump / Pro Biden crowd do the same if Trump is elected?

I will accept if Trump is elected. "Support" is a strong word. He will be the president of the United States as elected by the people. I will respect the results. Trump has made it pretty clear he doesn't support "blue" states. It starts at the top. If he has no intention of supporting everyone why should everyone be expected to support him?

And as I said 4 years ago after the results came in, while he wasn't my first or second choice, I still have hope, despite my doubts, that he'll lead with some small amount of dignity and work to do what's best for the country.

That was then, though. But now? After 4 years of this? After all those lives lost because of his arrogance and his incompetence? After his cult has irreversibly been convinced to follow his lead and ensure the propagation of this contagion for years to come directly impacting all of us? Nah, I have no hope he'll be anything other than a deceitful, unrepentant, disgusting, incompetent piece of sheet he is. In fact, he'll be even worse than that without the prospect of re-election reigning him in. So yeah, he can go F himself.

 I  hate politics. 

Regardless of the outcome I will be very interested in who is part of the participation trophy generation that cant handle losing and proceeds to carry on like a 2 year old.

Serious question — if Pennsylvania and Florida go Biden on election night, even before last minute mail-in votes are counted — do you expect Trump to call Biden and concede?

This last time we had people actually crying in the streets.. .. some threatening to leave the country and so on.

We have become a nation of participation trophys and hurt feelings. It is obvious that this election, no matter the outcome is going to put those emotions on display prominently.

And since I hate politics...... I  just might fan the flames......... unless @EagleJoe8wins and then I will really celebrate....... why ?

Maybe for anyone who's been in a coma for 4 years. For everyone else though, we know exactly what we're gonna get if Trump is somehow re-elected. We'll get an incompetent moron causing mass casualties while we'll see the same protests over who is now a known commodity. 

When Trump loses, he'll try to challenge the results in the courts, and those who cried about pink V hat wearing snowflakes being unable to accept the results will now be out in the streets themselves and pinning their hopes on the SCOTUS to throw out ballots to save their God King. And it's not a generational thing, in fact, the sore losers will likely skew older than it was last time, so the whole participation trophy thing won't really hold up when Trump loses.
