So kneeling for causes that have nothing to do with military men and women that died for the flag so they can have that freedom = son's of beetches

Honoring men and women who died for that flag= losers

Seems logical and makes total sense.

It's becoming blatantly obvious that John Kelly is the source. He has now officially declined to comment when given the opportunity to deny it.

AP has also confirmed the story in its entirety.

Should? I don't know. Maybe.

Will they? No chance.

Because they’re more presidential than the president.

Makes me wonder what your country will do on November 4 when he tries to claim victory before all the mail-in votes have been tallied, or refuses to admit defeat and says he’s not leaving office in January.

That could lead to some bigly civil unrest no matter how it plays out.

Trump just swore on Twitter that he never called McCain a loser.

Here's Trump retweeting himself calling McCain a loser.

This dude will literally lie at any time about anything.

WaPo out with a separately sourced story...

So now we've got the Associated Press, Atlantic, and WaPo all with their own stories.

He’s a lot like a rich version of Jim Ignatowski — almost never sane or sober, except that he’s not funny at all.

Here's Trump, on video, calling McCain a loser.

It doesn’t matter if there’s a video because Trump denied it.

The comments are so egregious that they will be hard for just about anyone to believe.  The Atlantic article seemed like a "cut and patch" article about different situations at different times, etc.  There's a lot that could be "misquoted" just based on how it's written with numerous "anonymous" sources, etc.  It's easy for Trump's critics to refer to his McCain comments in order to 'believe' he would say it but for most looking in, these comments go well beyond anything he's said (or has been quoted as saying) in the past.

And Trump calling anyone who would make such comments "an animal" seems odd if he actually said those exact quotes.  Do you guys think Trump would call himself "an animal"?  Just seems bizarre to me.

It’s like he thinks people don’t remember or there are videos of the whole the "I like people who weren’t captured” incident.

He's literally on video saying some of it. And we haven't even mentioned when he told the group of paralympians that it was a "little tough to watch too much".

After 4 years of Trump in the spotlight, and the stupid insensitive things he's said, and his casual relation with logic and truth, you find it hard to believe he's an even bigger callus a-hole behind closed doors and has no impulse to be logically consistent?

That’s what he’s said IN PUBLIC.  If that’s what he’s willing to say in public, when he knows the entire world will be able to see it, then what is he willing to say in private when he thinks no one else will hear it?

Just like in public, he’ll say some things about women, and then in private talk take it to the next level and talk about how he just grabs Em by the poosy.

The only thing Trump refutes from The Atlantic's article is him calling McCain a loser, which has already been disproven. Sad.
