Yeah, but I don't have to drink like I'm in high school or college anymore. I'd rather drink one craft beer than two Bud Lights. But I'm the same as @hukdonfoniks. If I'm at a party, and my only choice is a keg of Bud Light (or Miller or Coors), I'll drink it and be happy.
August 16, 20214 yr I went to Iron Hill Brewery in Newtown and had the Vienna Red Lager, it was good. I went to Iron Hill Brewery in Huntington Valley and had the same beer. It was not good.
August 16, 20214 yr I’ll drink whatever but coors/bud/Miller/michelob light are all pretty flavorless. It isn’t that they taste "bad” it’s that they taste like pretty much nothing at all.

I gained to much weight even a 12 pack does nothing for me lol. My sister ( no pictures losers) does marketing for Yuengling, I'm probably the only one in this stupid county that thinks Yuengling is disgusting
August 17, 20214 yr I blame Yuengling lager for starting me down the road of craft beer. Because even when I was younger, before craft beer was widely available, the only beers you could get at a bar were Bud/Bud Light/Miller/Coors Light/Yuengling lager (and maybe an import). Yuengling Lager just tasted better. So then I searched for more local breweries when I traveled out of town, finding microbreweries and craft beers along the way. I never looked back. Hershey Chocolate Porter isn't half bad either.

August 18, 20214 yr The problem with drinking a really nice IPA is that then bog standard IPAs just don't taste right. They taste cheap and they taste too fizzy or too flat.
August 18, 20214 yr I usually get 30 pack of PBR for my swill and a 4 pack of good IPA. I also love sours in the summer and bourbon stouts in the winter. After drinking 1500 different beers and realizing my cellar stash was getting to big I pulled back on craft beer for a while.
August 19, 20214 yr Almost out of my trillium pm dawn cans so sad Been sticking more to whiskey these days but football season means craft bombers
August 19, 20214 yr I prefer the lighter flavor of mainstream light beers in the summer or for watching sports and partying. Craft beers are good when I am only having 2 or 3 with a meal or whatnot. Non light beers bloat and fill me up really fast
August 20, 20214 yr I find I don't drink as much beers since I mostly stick to craft beers. 1 or 2 a session is fine with me, when I'd drink 3-4 or more when I used to drink macro stuff. I remember once going out with coworkers, mostly older than me. They were drinking the usual Bud/Miller/Coors, and I was drinking something significantly stronger, probably an IPA. They were surely outpacing me beer for beer. So they started teasing, calling me a lightweight.... I'm like, you have no idea what I'm drinking! I find I like the taste of ales more than lagers. Must be the bottom-fermenting yeast I guess? I don't like Belgian beers either, they taste funky to me. I guess I'm just sensitive to the yeast taste.

Only one I truly love is from a local brewery and it's a Belgian Quad aged in apple brandy barrels. Freewill Ella. Excellent.

Bud Light, Coors Light, and Miller Lite are all 4.2% ABV. So the usual 12oz serving from a bottle or can multiply by 4.2 and you get 50.4 of what I call Alcohol Units (AUs). It's something I came up with to help compare and put into perspective how much beer you're drinking in terms of craft vs macro. So say you're drinking a 16oz (because most craft breweries now are doing their beers in pint cans) IPA at 7% ABV. That's 112.0 AUs, so that one IPA is like drinking 2.22 BMC beers. If that IPA is just 1% stronger then you're drinking the equivalent of 2.53 BMC beers. And Hell, if you crack open an Imperial Stout at 12% that's like drinking 3.8 BMC beers at once. So when you wake up the next day feeling not so good after having a few 16oz craft beers the night before and you're thinking "Why do I feel so sheety, I only had 3 beers?", when you drank the equivalent of 7 'regular' beers, but you drank your 3 craft beers in a shorter time frame than if you actually drank those 7 'regular' beers. So more alcohol in your body at a quicker pace.
