EMB Blog: 2021 Regular Season

One thing that stood out to me about the game was how many checkdowns Hurts took. And it was stated he took what they were giving him, no problem if that is true. There is something to be said for taking safe and easy throws to manage the game, but we still need to see him make the plays when he needs to, can he? Can he thread the needle on an out, 20 yards down the field, when he HAS to have it? 

We will see

 

This video here analyzing just how good Devonta is and how open he was getting himself shows there were opportunities to push the ball farther than 10 yards down the field and Hurts took the safer check down at times. Other times he made the correct/ faster read.  One thing for Sure Devonta could have had a monster game.

Provolone, fried onions, beef and crusty roll.   That's it.  

 

Swiss should get your finger nails pulled out. 
Vinegar should have your dominant arm clamped behind your back for a week.
Olives or cucumbers and you are banned from ordering a cheesesteak ever again... and certainly never talking about it.

He was draft eligible last year and in early mocks he was there. Will the senior year help or hurt his stock? Not sure yet. Cant say Ive watched him. I would have if he stayed in the draft last year, but havent yet.

IP wont like this but I get mine plain with american cheese.

Id accept a review with provolone of course. And Id accept toppings such as onions, sweet peppers and mushrooms. Thats about it. Anything else,  you are wasting my time. 

You know you dont do ketchup or sauce.

If you put lettuce, pickles, tomato, or mayo on it Ill come kill you.

I'm good with Provo, American or WHIZ....

I always go light on the onions. 

 

And yes I like Ketchup or Sauce

That is acceptable, but wrong.   :P 

Provolone is the original cheese for the cheesesteak.   American is acceptable only if there has been some sort of natural disaster and provolone cheese is unavailable.   

 

Yes, I take cheesesteaks very seriously.  Any other variation is just a beef and cheese sandwich.

Correct.  "Provolone wit-out' is acceptable.  But, the proper order is "Provolone wit".

Id suggest getting it the way you like best, american, so you can give us your most accurate opinion on it. You already wont enjoy it as much if you get it a way you dont prefer.

I think American witout suits pretty much everyone here.

Remember a while back @VaBeach_Eagle set up a youtube account for the EMB. Nothing is being done with it.

I expect you to walk in there with a go pro recording. Give us your impression of the atmosphere, the ordering process, how long you wait, and then your review. Then you gotta score it like a Portnoy pizza review. And thats how the youtube channel should be used from now on. EMB people can be uploading their cheesesteak reviews. 

That would drive traffic to this site, and revenue from youtube, to keep it running.

Maybe I'll just get an oven baked Philly cheesesteak sandwich from Dominos it's the best sandwich they make and they let you put American and provolone on it! Take that subway!

Well if you go provolone and dont like it I have a cop out. I suggested this place as a top notch cheesesteak location based on the way I order it. American.

No. From Dominos the sandwich you order is the chicken parm.

They give St. Louis the Rams.

And they texture the green so that us colorblind folks can distinguish it from the red.
