This is exactly how we lose everytime.   Too many turnovers and failure to stick with the run game.

The run game was ineffective.  Once Lane went out our Oline lost their advantage

The offense was abysmal. No run game and Lane being out was the difference. Hurts and the OC couldn’t adjust. Credit to the Jets defense

Of course it is. I'm not arguing that at all.  Horrible INTs.  But some take pleasure in roasting him because they didn't think he'd be good to begin with and were loud about it 

Lane injury prognosis is crucial. This has always been a different offense without him in it. He’s the most important guy on the team outside of Hurts.

IMO, Hurts was exceptional in the first half and abysmal in the second.
 

Pass protection with Driscoll in there was brutal.  That’s a major problem because, predictably, Lane misses large chunks of the season.  You can’t have the offense fall apart every time a very, very injury prone lineman at the end of his career gets hurt.  It’s just not a viable situation.

Defense did their job and everything else was more or less our usual weekly struggle with the exception of 2 uncharacteristic fumbles and a missed FG.

 

The defense held tight today…but we officially finished the game with Bradberry plus an all practice squad secondary.  They weren’t the problem this week, but the Dolphins are going to drop 40+ on them if the secondary doesn’t get healthy.

Defense did their job today though.  It wasn't pretty, but they got it done.  The offense put them in tons of bad positions.  Inexcusable.

People are really mad about 5-1. We were in the Super Bowl last year. It's fine.

They put too much on Jalen's shoulders this year. Need to take a step back from that.

I think the pass play call was fine but if no one is open (no one was open) you pull it down and run for a few and bleed the clock.

If the easy pass was there the game is over.

You have to trust your QB in that spot and he just made a really bad decision.

Best case this is a good reality check. Most likely case this is a team that has snuck by 5 bad teams. Next 6 weeks will be telling. If I had to guess, we are somewhere closer to 8-4, maybe even 7-5 by that point.
