When is it socially acceptable to express concern about Jalen Hurts?

The outcome of this game had nothing to do with the LBs.  NOTHING.

Their LB were responsible for a few of the turnovers. Not the reason the Eagles lost, but I still wish we had better LB.

This team just isn't disciplined enough, good enough, or coached well enough.

It's clear to see. They need to vastly improve and soon.

I think the pass play call was fine but if no one is open (no one was open) you pull it down and run for a few and bleed the clock.

If the easy pass was there the game is over.

You have to trust your QB in that spot and he just made a really bad decision.

Yep with our own banged up secondary it's not gimme Jobe wouldn't get a huge PI call to give up a FG. But you can't throw that one

People are really mad about 5-1. We were in the Super Bowl last year. It's fine.

They've looked like dog ish all year, not once have they played a complete game. Every game is "well they still won without playing their best". At what point, 6 games in, do we say this is who they are and this is their best?

Lane injury prognosis is crucial. This has always been a different offense without him in it. He’s the most important guy on the team outside of Hurts.

It a double problem

Lane compared to a replacement level player is huge.

A replacement level player compared to Driscoll is also huge.

Lane to Driscoll is like Mahomes to Nathan Peterman.

Best case this is a good reality check. Most likely case this is a team that has snuck by 5 bad teams. Next 6 weeks will be telling. If I had to guess, we are somewhere closer to 8-4, maybe even 7-5 by that point.

I predicted 10-7…feeling like that’s about right.

Something has been off with the coaching all season. They've been coaching hesitant almost like they fear the defense rather than the defense should be fearing them. They tighten up in the red zone, on 3rd downs they've not been nearly as aggressive. I really don't get it. Just an air that they don't have confidence in their players. They got away with it for weeks. Even last week on that late drive they played for a field goal and basically conceded a TD. Random stuff like that all season.

I think it's actually overconfidence. They need to lean more on the run game and more RPOs.

This is the kick in the ass we need for the coaching staff. Losing a game has benefits in the long run.

Eagles 38

Dolphins 17

Hurts 400 yards

It isn't. You can't question him at all.

He's regressed as a whole.

Dude, he blew the game with that dumb pick. Yes, others have more responsibility for the disaster it was, but he had the lead and f'ed the game away being dumb. It's on him.

Yeah, this one is on him.

This is the type of loss that will be costly come January. The Niners gave us a gift and we pathetically gave it back.

With our schedule, we couldn’t afford to pee down our legs today.

Huge props to Bradberry, he gave up some yards but was otherwise carrying the entire practice squad defensive backfield on his shoulders.

Jalen was really efficient until Lane went down. Then he had his worst half since November 2021. Probably should have started running more, but that’s hindsight

Brian Johnson didn’t have anything. Every play looked like the Jets were expecting it

Elliot‘s Miss was huge, but he’s not gonna make them all

Glad we were in it til the end and it didn’t come down to some wonky flag or random luck live ball, but this is the exact game we used to win like clockwork. Hopefully it’s not a trend

They put too much on Jalen's shoulders this year. Need to take a step back from that.

Yes, they shouldn't ask too much of their $255 m man.

I think I went 13-4 or 12-5. I forgot. F Hurts. I'm going to smoke a bowl

Fortunately the Niners, who were being crowned the greatest team ever, lost to the Browns and their 3rd string QB

We’ll see how fine we really are coming up.

We’re not fine, that’s reality.

Although I totally get why some fans don’t want to acknowledge reality.

Devonta was also critically bad

Thinking about Josh Jobe and Mario Goodrich trying to cover Tyreek Hill next week

Calm down you dumb stoner. Btw they make gummies now

I really think everyone is overreacting a bit. Hurts played well but had a couple costly mistakes, noticeably after Lane went down.

Lane Johnson being hurt should be the biggest concern for this team, and where his timetable is. Next week Miami will be a very tall task, they have quality pass rushers & a solid defense. If we have Carter and Slay back I feel a little better going against their offense, but Blankenship being out worries me.

also offensive playcalling isn’t good, Swift needs to be more involved and less Gainwell. I hope Devonta gets out of the funk he’s in.

Eagles can definitely win next week

I'd rather lose against PJ Walker over Zach Wilson

I hear you. They need to play to his strengths better though. He's not Patrick Mahomes.
