Howie desperately needs to make a move for secondary help.

Might as well trade for some oline help

Smith was bad too

Siri need to call plays

Blaming Sirianni over Johnson is fair as Sirianni is the HC and made the decision.

It’s also "his offense.” Johnson just calls the plays. Hard to parse it all out, but whoever is in charge of putting together the RZ plan is pretty crappy right now.

There were so many mistakes. It was a perfect storm of Fing up and it seemed like everyone on offense wanted a turn.

swift fumbles

gainwell drops a sure first down

smitty plays the worst game I’ve ever seen him play, dropping multiple easy passes for first downs

Goedert magically drops a pass into a defensive lineman’s arms.
hurts spends the entire 2nd half bailing on the run. Some were clean pockets and some not. And then on the few times he tries to trust the o-line, he gets hit for an int or sacked.

driscoll was just Fing impossibly brutal on running and passing plays

jake Eliot missing a cheap shot fg

the players literally took turns Fing up on each drive after going up 14-3.

3 drops? That one 30 yards downfield with nobody within 10 yards costed us points…

Honestly, the worst game I’ve ever seen him play - well below the floor I imagined for him.

Jake missing that FG was a sign we were going to lose.  He is almost always automatic.

I don't see them beating Miami but maybe being at home and it being primetime they play better and make it a game.

They want to throw to start the game and get a lead when maybe they should do the opposite.   Pound the rock to start the game and get a lead then incorporate the pass more off play action.

Yep. Few of us said that

Every week people **** about Brian Johnson. What play calls were even the problem today? Play calls had very little to do with this loss. Multiple dropped passes, bad turnovers, Elliott missed FG, poor protection up front at times. None of that has to do with the play calling. And if they needed to slide help over to Driscoll, that's a head coach decision.

I get Sirianni is a popular guy in this town, but you can't just put everything on Johnson because you love Sirianni. This is his team, he's responsible for all this stuff.

And Sirianni is the one who decides coming out of the 2 minute warning whether they're running or passing. Sirianni is the one who decides the game plan, which is obviously pass heavy.

Sirianni has made weird decisions all year. Like featuring Gainwell in week 1. Going for it on 4th down in week 1. Not going for 2 vs Minnesota. Not using the timeout at the end of the first half vs Minnesota. Going for the TD at the end vs Washington. All year long he's done dope crap, but because we love Nick, let's blame it all on Johnson. It's unfair.

To be fair he does a lot of unorthodox things and he did them last year as well. People didn’t **** cuz a lot of them worked.
The first TD today? You can first guess that … no one does because we scored. The end of the game throw didn’t work, it was bound to happen eventually. Get used to it, it’s who we are.

*If we had a 4th and 1 in that situation at are own 45 I have no doubt Sirianni goes for it.

Fumble, huge drop

game changing plays yes

The Rams have scored at least 3 points on 49 consecutive redzone trips with Matt Stafford at QB (zero instances of missed 4th downs, penalties moving them out of FG range, interceptions, lost fumbles, missed field goals, time expiring).

Every team goes through losses like this. The Chiefs lost to the Colts last year. It happens.

Swift fumble up 14-6 inside Jet 40 under 2 minutes too. We played bad, it’s an L that we earned.

I know this is going to stir the pot, but having a QB play consistently well from season to season would be nice for a change.

But it's Philly, so..

I'm not a fan of the set drama to 100 and panic people but this has been a really ugly 6 weeks to 5-1.

Outside of the Tampa game all those games were close-ish.

I share the concern but the talent and the coaching has a track record of getting it done.

My biggest concern is how the injuries look after playing on that death trap field.

The Hurts pick, the Swift fumble being a six-point swing, Elliott’s missed FG and Smith’s wide open drop are four total kicks in the nuts. If we don’t F up just one of those, it’s a win.

Passing the ball a lot was fine. They didn’t run the ball well and the Jets had backup corners. You have to trust your MVP and great WR duo to make plays. And if not for a MORONIC INT by Hurts it would’ve been enough to win.

I saw the sf/cle game. The anointing oil given to Brock purdy looks looks very premature. He was godawful once cmc and Debo got injured. He was making bad reads and bad throws.

For teams that enduringly contend for SBs year in year out (with both the Cowher and Tomlin Steelers as a notable exception), no one really cares who the OC is…the HC has a plan, a system, a model…it is sustainably effective and teams just consistently hire away the OCs into HC jobs.

I like Siri a lot.  But he’s an offensive HC.  If he’s doing his job, we shouldn’t be noticing major hiccups in the offense when there is an OC change.

Eagles are favored by 2.5

Tua might not get through the game.  People take one game too seriously.

Yeah the Eagles are capable of losing against Miami too… but would you really be surprised if the Eagles won?

No S?

The Rams game really wasn’t close.

Remove 2 or 3 of them and it’s a total blowout. They had a comedy of errors game, I don’t think there’s a lot of big picture concern here.

A horrible game of course and with all focus on the O and yes starting with the OL injuries.  I'd like to chalk this up to the ole "you will lose at some point, look no further than San Fran today.  i'll go with that for now until I get further info.
