I’m not watching. Just scrolling and reading and venting after an embarrassing loss. 

Hurts hasnt really fed up before I mean this isn’t the norm it’s the anomaly right now. It was bad but everyone but Mahomes has a bad game. 

1) Howie to make some moves to help the secondary ahead of the tougher schedule. Who? Dunno, I'm just desperate for new bodies who fit at this stage.

2) Put Alex Tanney and Brian Johnson under review. Someone/something needs to light a fire under their ass.

Birds are 5-1 so there's no need to panic, but it's been ugly. We need to identify the weak points asap and address them where poss. I have no doubt Howie and Lurie are already thinking about this.

I digress, I think there's a lot of concern to take from this game because coaching is ultimately failing this team.

I"m usually a glass half full type of guy, but this team is going to nosedive hard after today. 

The offensive game plan has been ish all season. To lose to the Jets and miss the opportunity to pick a game up on the Niners is the difference between a Super Bowl berth and a wildcard knockout. You can’t turn the ball over four times and win. You can’t let the Jets stay in it all day. To be playing against #1 Jets CB CRAIG JAMES and not have 300 yards passing is pathetic. All I can say is Go Phils!

He played well enough to score 38+ and the team dropped balls or slowed down or got hit and fumbled.

He made 1 really bad decision, his 3rd bad decision all year vs about 100 good or great plays.

The splits with and without him are staggering. QB is the most important position in the game so Hurts is more valuable by default, but the gap between him and Lane isn’t large as far as importance.

I wouldn't be surprised.  It's the NFL.  Who thought the 49ers would lose to Cleveland today.

I do think they will want to redeem themselves after blowing today's game.  Being at the Linc will help too but this Miami team is the best offense they will face by far.  They need to get pressure consistently on Tua or else it will be a long night.

So I wouldn't be surprised if the Eagles pull this out but I don't see it with how they've been playing and all the injuries that have piled up lately.

With half a secondary missing, you can't even throw it on them. Sad

They will not nosedive after this game, and the coaching is a little off, but overall it’s still good. I think it’s major hyperbole to say it’s letting them down, especially today. Today was waaaaaay more on the players than coaching. The coaches didn’t turn it over 4 times and drop wide open passes. Today, the players let the coaches down.

This is a really good team. We’ve had it so good here lately that slight failures have people panicking. That’s because everyone isn’t used to not looking close to perfect. This is how normal NFL seasons go. Ups and downs.

On what?  I said it repeatedly throughout the game as it was becoming increasingly clear.  It was like that Washington game last year except on hyper drive because we suffered some serious injuries to very key players.  But as Jason Kelce would put it, it was the whole damn team.  Everyone making uncharacteristic and costly mistakes.  From some of the star players to to the kicker.  

Those seem to be the only losses that can catch this team in the regular season.  Will be an interesting week with how Howie responds.  After the Washington game Howie signed Suh and Joseph.  I think we are absolutely seeing a trade before Wednesday for a safety and depending on the Lane severity an offensive tackle as well.

The offense seems to be solely predicated on out-talenting opposing defenses and not necessarily scheming guys open or creative play design. More times than not they’ll win the talent battle because of the offensive line and guys like AJ and DeVonta. But it would be nice to see more motion, scheming guys open, and not just solely relying on a guy’s talent.
