Why....they swept us (true first series of the year), they would have home field because of that, Houston wouldn't....but guess it doesn't matter anyway because that's who it looks like we'd be playing if/when we get there...let's just get there.  I can't have another depressing loss at this point.....

I thought Home field was determined by the All-Star game outcome?

He tore it to become an Eagle

We can only dream.

Imagine lining him up in the slot as WR3.

Hopeful he comes back if and when the Dawgs are in the CFP.

Still think he goes Top 15.

But we can still dream.

Come on bryce win it on your birthday

No, they stopped that a few years ago. It goes to the team with the better record and the tiebreaker is head to head.

The option style play to Boston Scott was really neat. What I noticed the most on that play is that Boston Scott offers WAY more juice than Kenny Gainwell. Neither of them should be a short yardage back but Scott deserves some of Gainwells snaps.

Scott makes that nice play and then doesn't get a touch the rest of the game. Shameful on this coordinator

Ok.  Thanks.

He got a touch at the goal line and embarrassed himself not long after that.  He had 2 carries for 2 yards, with a long of 9.

Someone explain to me why this game hasn't started yet?

The longest wait today for this Chargers-Cowboys game to start.

Hey I called it on Friday that this uniform combo meant Jets were winning. I don't know why anyone is surprised.

I don't now if it was the feed or my tv but those Jets jerseys looked a little too close to our Kelly green I thought. Their green is a shade or two darker and not as vivid as a kelly green. That jersey looked very very close to ours I thought but maybe it was just the tv...

Admittedly, I didn’t see every play (I’m the foodie of the family and Sunday dinner is a thing around here).

2 carries for 2 yards only tells parts of the story for those that didn’t see those plays.  It’s like hearing Quez caught a WR screen that lost a couple yards…and the finding out later why that was a bad thing.

I like Scott and think he’s under-used a bit.  Was he bad on those plays…or was it blocking?

This question is not for you specifically, but anyone…

He had one run for 9 yards.  That was good.   He had another run that went for -7 yards.   That was bad.

It was bad blocking, for sure on that, he was going to lose yards on the play.  BUT.. he went BACKWARDS and then he SLID down for that 7 yard loss.  Happened on first down from the 1 yard line.

Heck no…if he can go, he should go.  If he can’t, he can’t.  No reason to go any deeper than that.

He's a 320+ pound guy with a bad ankle going against other monsters every single down. I'd imagine you can hurt it worse and I don't want to have him need surgery like his other.

@mattwill

Diamondbacks in 6

With an hour to go..

This is hilarious!

I agree, but the phrasing "pushing to play” which someone said suggests you might need to protect him from himself a bit.

I thought we would’ve gotten the secondary trade by now today. Figured Howie had lines out waiting to see how it played out. We’re in a dire situation about to face the best offenses in NFL in next 6-8 weeks.

Between Smiths drops and Brown running lazy routes, I don't want to hear or see anyone else publicly sulking about not getting the ball

Even Jake Elliot?

Extending the lineup by keeping Castellanos at 7.  There is no break.   Besides, something tells me Bohm figures it out this series.

@mattwill

Phillies 7-2

If we score 7 off their Ace, then this will be a short series.

The trade deadline conveniently coincides with our bye week, which gives any additions 2 weeks to get on-boarded.  Additionally, the best position to add is a bit of a moving target week to week.

WR and OT entered the fray this week.  Previously, it was a back and forth between CB vs. S.  They can probably address one position at the deadline.  Might as well let the dust continue to settle to figure out which one it needs to be.

Almost everyone is going to argue for safety, but I continue to vote CB with a dark horse WR.

This is mostly just wincing from that infamous Steelers game a few years back, but does anyone else have a bubbling concern that Chase Claypool is going to hurt us Sunday night?

The Astros have had a ton of chances in this game. Feels like the rangers are just trying to hold on for dear life and the Astros are like one big hit away from evening up the series.
