And the BP, for all the stress and consternation... 0 earned runs.  (Yeah, that run Dominguez gave up wasn't earned, but it was his error.).

That’s been the theme for the bullpen all playoffs long.  Make it as ugly and stressful as possible, don’t throw strikes early in counts, walk guys, and then get out of innings.

I'm now laser focused on Chargers pulling this out somehow.

Not to defend Dominguez, but a rushed throw (and it had to be rushed) from the front slope of the mound towards second is a really common throwing error for pitchers.  Natural timing and release sails it.

Can our OC file that play away for future use please?  Like it would nice to have an open Wr in the red zone.

Yup.   I think Game 2 of the NLDS was the last time the BP gave up any earned runs.    And tonight might have been the first run surrendered since then as well, I think.

It is... and they need to practice that more.  They work on so much of the minutia.  Gotta work on that too.

Dbacks bullpen has surprising been good in the playoffs. Struggled all year but seemed to have found themselves in the playoffs. Giving up 4 ERs in 23.1 innings. (Phillies 22.1 IP and 3 ERs). So the Phillies pen is going to have to be great to match the dbacks BP.
