I feel like the RZ issues are the easiest thing in the world to solve.  Spread the field, put AJ on one side on an island.  If hes 1 on 1, throw it to him. If hes not, run it.

You've got it all wrong... the answer is to run more QB draws.

I'm surprised they don't use Goedert more in the redzone. Also surprised they don't use Goedert more overall lol

Predictions Window is open ... obviously.  Over the six weeks of the season 95 Blog posters have made game score predictions in one or more of the games.  Another 15 Blog posters made a season record prediction, but so far haven't made a game score prediction.  That is 110 total.  In its own small (and somewhat silly) way it has made the Blog more active and more fun.  My thanks to everyone for contributing to the fun.

With that said, predictions started early this week, and 14 are recorded so far.  Eight have the Eagles winning and six have the Dolphins winning.

The average predicted score is Eagles 28 Dolphins 32.  That makes the Over/Under prop for the game 69 points.

The 14 recorded so far are:

Goedert is the true ghost on this team.  Basically has disappeared.

AJ taking shots at McNabb.

Taking shots at McNabb? AJ is truly one of us.

OL people smarter than me - what's the drawback to fast tracking Steen? Seems he'd be a significant upgrade over Driscoll.

With the intermediate passing game?  I feel like we are pounding short passes and taking shots.  Goedert had an incredible ypc last year as Jalen Hurts would find him late.

Looking forward to Brian Johnson's PC.  I have been highly critical of him but think he did some good things with new looks in the last game.  The players didn't execute and made mistakes.  I did like the slants to AJ, the 2 rb set, rb wheel route.  Hurts actually had some schemed open receivers even though some were drops or off target

There was a play, I believe Goederts first catch of the game, in the 1st quarter- he was lined up in the back field. I was wondering when we got a FB or who that white RB was. It was goedert. He seemed to get hurt on that play but played the rest of the game till the end. Lots of interesting new wrinkles came out in that 1st quarter.

Then they got away from it all. Tons of empty back fields and Hurts holding the ball with a banged up OL.

Ok….

I'm very surprised if Siri didn't approve passing on that play and let Johnson decide.  That's a situation where you need to overrule the OC and tell him to run the ball.

Sirianni was in agreement with throwing the ball there.  He said as much multiple times in PCs since the rest of the game.

Yeah, I think the fact that we have good WRs and a Qb that can get it down the field sometimes takes away the focus of the offense.  The offense gets too impatient at times and just turns one dimensional trying to push the ball down the field.

Obviously with backup OL, we need more a quick, intermediate passing game and a commitment to the run.  RPOs need to be a bigger part of the equation.

As mentioned, they need to get AJ and Goedert involved in red zone.  It would also be nice to get someone schemed open like the Chargers did with Everett last night.

Does Jalen have the authority to change plays as well?

That's the thing when a bad play call is made we don't know where it came from.  Sirianni doesn't call plays and I don't know if he ever steps in and says we need to do this.  If BJ calls a run play does Jalen change it to a pass?  Or vice versa.

Waiting for tonight’s game like…

Tua is a Tebow clone, he stinks, always has. And people think Mike McDaniel is smart because he wears glasses and looks like a nerd. Licking my chops facing this team Sunday night.

Tua is far more accurate and his throwing motion is pretty natural.  Tebow always looked like he was shot putting the ball and had terrible accuracy issues.

Hurts has changed the play. He probably gets between 1-3 plays and will change it or keep it depending on what he sees from the defense

Yes.

He audibled into a backshoulder throw to AJ Brown that lead to an INT in the Rams game.
