What a tweet. Scoring a TD is a "point of emphasis.”

Sometimes we overcomplicate the game.  Scoring points seems important.   Next level stuff.

Why would they trade away what they did to get Russell Wilson?  I always hope teams will do foolish things.   Like, for example, why would the Vikings give up a first for Sam Bradford?  Why would the Titans trade AJ Brown?    Because Howie played a Jedi mind trick on these GMs.   I can hope for the future that others will follow suit.

I'm guessing they thought they were still in "contender mode" when they traded for Wilson - and back then just about everyone (including 99% of this board) thought Wilson was an elite/win now type of QB.   Apparently the Eagles thought so too (Thank goodness it didn't happen)

Completely different scenario now in Denver - I'd imagine Payton knows what he's doing - more than the previous regime, anyway.

How Watson has any off field income is beyond me

We 100% don't need to burn assets on another RB, but how fun would it be to watch Henry and Swift run with Hurts and this OL?

Thoughts on Eagles roster moves/future moves...

- WR3 was a huge, underrated need. Quez is a net negative, OZ doesn't strike any fear on those clearouts. Julio is still fast, is a bigger body blocking in the run game, lets them play Smith more in the slot. No risk, big upside signing.

- Current biggest need? Backup RT. Driscoll just can't be the first option there. If Tyler Steen isn't ready, I'd just bring Peters back. Driscoll makes a hobbling 41 year old Peters look like it's 2009 again.

- Josiah Scott as the 5th option at NB is fine. He's playable, knows the defense, and should have good communication with the rest of the secondary. Getting Roby 100% for the stretch run is a big deal.

- They have to add a plus player in the middle of the defense. If you're going low cost, I say trade for Jordan Hicks and let Sydney Brown start. Come the stretch run, they need those positions to be better.

Next they are going to work on their pre snap huddle game.

Hot take: NFL officiating isn’t getting worse, it’s very possible it’s better than it’s ever been.

We just didn’t have 4k super slow mo and social media to hyperbolize all of the horrible calls they were making in the 90’s

The NFL also makes issues for itself by having replay officials and unchallengable plays, so even where fans can see a clear error has occurred no one can step in and say to the Ref's you might want to look again at that one.

Also, the other big issue for NFL Officials is that a lot of old farts think that the game should be played and officiated like the game in the 1974 Burt Reynolds vehicle 'The Longest Yard', and just don't understand what leading with the crown of the helmet is and the rules around it at all.

I'll go ahead and disagree with that one.   He's the same guy that fell in love with Taysom Hill as a QB.

So if you want a nike elite FUSE Kelly green jersey, the pro shop at the linc has them. No clue of fanatics or nike is getting them in. So I’d say if you want that elite authentic to go down to the stadium otherwise may not get one or it might be a while before you do

Ugh. Between this and the Stubbs comments - smh - why give them ammo and potentially wake them up?

That said, I think this team is talented enough to overcome them getting "pumped up" over this -  but we should know better, imo.

I don't know how lost he is.  He seems to be sitting down on the route to see if Wilson is going to continue outside or break up field. So he's watching the slot carry the receiver and then providing a bracket depending on the route.   When he breaks upfield, it looks like Garner is slow to turn and not in the right position.  He, however,  has inside leverage vs. the slot having outside and is good position.  I don't think he looks bad.

We should trade 2 firsts for him.

They sent me an email saying the jersey was delayed. When I ordered it the estimated delivery date was in November. So I was thinking how the hell could it be delayed even more. I checked out the progress link and it says it'll be next week

Those are the limited jerseys or game jerseys. The Nike elite jerseys (closest thing to what they wear on field) haven’t been released yet besides at the linc this morning. Don’t know if Fanatics and Nike are even getting them. I believe they would cause they are huge outlets but never know as they haven’t been yet

I am going to lose my mind with this. Like the tickets are that cheap BECAUSE NO ONE WANTS TO GO. All they are doing right now is helping scalpers recoup money or buying tickets people are beyond desperate to get rid of.

No one is going to be sitting in these seats regardless.

We just didn’t have social media to hyperbolize all of the blown calls they were making in the 90’s. If a ref missed 6 blatant holds in a row, no one really cared because the broadcast didn’t have 12 cameras in the stadium with a shot on every player.

Please let me **** in peace.  I think the difference is really that the number of penalties has changed for this year in particular.  There have been just over 1400 flags in 93 total games. That's 15 flags a game.  It's a ridiculously high amount but it's not that much higher than last season where it was 13 flags a game on average.  In the 90's, the average was around 11 a game.  They need to put the flags away and only make calls that really impact the game.

If someone wants to buy the seats right behind the Phillies dugout for game 4, I’ll gladly let them and I’ll take the tickets. Lol

Phillies drop stand against bullying meanwhile Phillies fans trying to bully Arizona fans on Twitter. And did so last week to the Braves fans. Lol

The difference is that being gay is something you're born with, but being a Braves fan is an abomination towards God and deserves bullying.
