So far through 4.5 games feel like the eagles need to address secondary early in the draft. Got 3 picks in the top 64. I’d use two on corners. I don’t think jobe, Ricks are gonna be anything more than just backups. And who knows with ringo. Tbh if broncos made surtain available I’d pay a high price to get him. Be set at one corner spot for nearly a decade

As well as a change in philosophy and scheme in the secondary. Otherwise it won't make any difference

A Surtain trade would be amazing, 2 1st would be worth it.

I don't think DEN will do it.

I’m not gonna pretend that the secondary isn’t struggling, but they are not as bad as they’ve been made to look lately.

Also, McVay, Stafford, Kupp, etc are a damn difficult offense to deal with when they’re on….and they’ve been on this year.

Mac Jones did this to our defense too.  It’s a weekly event.  Only thing that changes is the name on the back of the qb’s Jersey.

Surtain requires trading two 1sts, then a 25M contract. We have to pay Devonta in the off-season. Can't afford it.

Honestly, I don’t care if they outlaw the tush push. We’ll just sneak it instead. It won’t matter.

If they outlaw that, they'll need to put some rule in about how many DL can line up on the center...

or, crazy idea, don't over regulate the game.

Sack was on Hurts. The miss is likely on Quez based on history alone.

Yup, 2 bad plays.  There’s nothing going on the ground today and it’s all on the passing game.  2 bad plays under those circumstances is damn good.

Idk i could see Denver doing it if you massively overpaid. They are gonna need a Qb since Payton is already supposedly fed up with Wilson. I could see them wanting to stockpile picks to try to maneuver up to get a kid they want.

I’d do a 1st and a mid rounder.  Beyond that, it’s not meant to be.

Yup, and I refuse to believe that Slay, Bradbury, and Blankenship all of a sudden can’t play.

Just like I refused to believe that Hurts forgot how to play when so many were talking about regression.

Better coaching and adding a player (maybe Roby is it), would make this secondary much better overnight.

As much as I'd be for it, no way Denver gives up their best player on defense.

True…and I would call it bad there.  At least against the top quarterbacks we will be.  Which is who they’d be facing in the playoffs.

Top QBs?  What about Sam Howell?

Surtain is a 23 year future HOF CB.

2 1st would absolutely be worth it for us.

DEN will want more.

Yep, Surtain or Sauce. Doubt we could get either?

He can play inside and outside. So can play him on the outside then move him inside when need too. I’d give up a high pick for him. He’s young and a stud.

Would you give up #32?

I will take an LB who can cover before a CB. At least at CB we still theoretically have Ricks/Ringo.

The offense looks good. Not perfect but very good. Defense is obviously a problem but I will say that Stafford & Kupp are hard to stop when they are on top of their game.

And... Washington with Howell and McLaurin?

Hurts had a near MVP season and went toe to toe with Mahomes in the SB.  2 ugly games from him were concerning, but not defining.

Slay and Bradberry are on the wrong side of 30.  Slay was not very good down the stretch last year.  Blankenship has always been a little slow in coverage and is a udfa with a nose for the ball.

I don’t really struggle to see how they got this bad overnight.  I think it’s real.

Yup….I think our best players give us the best chance.

That’s how you call plays in high leverage situations.

Not overthinking it and a freaking screen to Watkins lol

The play call was fine; the player ran straight to the blocked defender and stopped the drive.  Even Reagor would have done more with that ball.

Thus far this season, Oz looks like the better player

Passing in Porter Jr for Smith is hurting them early. Smith may be the better player in the long run though.

Decline that

Should have declined that penalty.

Rogers only bet on other teams and not the Colts he would be playing right now
