CJGJ, I suspect, wanted out.  I think those negotiations went south and personal and that was a lost cause.

If I would have done something differently, it would be trading out of the 2nd and taking Steen.  He’s not a prototypical RG AND he’s not in the depth picture as a rookie.  So that’s the pick I probably would have tried to force into the secondary.  

He’s a prototype RG I think. Prototypical size and athleticism that needs coaching. About what you expect in the 3rd round.

Nah, for as many failures to capitalize on the Rams mistakes as there have been, we are in control of this game.

The Rams haven’t done anything on offense since half time and our offense is moving the ball at will.

We are just a better team.

But, if we play like this we are going to eat 5+ losses during the meat of our schedule.

This is why Desai can’t win though.  We bash him for putting a UDFA or Roby on Cupp.  But then Slay and Bradberry get toasted.  The DBs are holding on for dear life…they just can’t cover anyone.

Rocket Sanders from Arkansas would be one of my priority targets in the draft. 6’2” 245 lbs , speed, burst, former WR so he’s not useless in the passing game.

He’s having a down year so we might be able to get him with the Saints second.
