Hurts had a really good game today.  I’d say he might have overtaken Elliott as team MVP for the year, but Elliott was quietly 3/3 on FGs.  

This was the first season ever where we scored 25 in each of our first 4 games. I would have made it 5 by going for the FG at the end. With 1.5m left, LAR wins a 9pt game with FG+onside+TD. A FG for us there prevents that

iMO Lane has been our MVP for 7 consecutive seasons. The disparity of him on vs off the field in Carson’s rookie year was insane, and he’s kept it up this entire section of his career.

Wow.  So the nfl picks up pass interference flags when they go against the Chiefs.

I feel the same. While Hurts has been in no way perfect, a different, comparable QB (Lamar, Stafford, Tua) loses us a couple of these early games.

Yet again the chiefs get the refs. Penalty gets picked up. Dude takes his helmet off doesn't get penalized for that and in the replay a very clear hands to the face. It is every single week the chiefs get the refs it's completely ridiculous 

Really starting to question how the Chiefs are treated by the officials.

Plenty to clean up but that was the most satisfying game so far.

Yes, it should’ve been a penalty for him taking his helmet off. But the fact of the matter is it changes possession anyways. They’re just backed up to the 21 yard line instead of getting it at the 36.

This is the type of game where you look at Hurts' contract and then you ask a few questions... why do we keep running him in the red zone?  And why run two consecutive tush pushes at the very end, rather than a straight run?

Jalen Hurts answered the questions about him being slow today. He isn't, I think he was just avoiding running hard before today. Today they let him loose.
