What they've been saying about Pretti has been horrendous. There is absolutely no human decency amongst these people. Once again, good thing there was video or they'd be even more brazen in their slander.

This statement is the perfect illustration of cult mentality that's taken hold for so long that they now live in a completely separate reality. This alleged human being knowingly voted for a convicted felon, rapist, pedophile, human trafficker, bigot, and insurrectionist. All things that are known facts and are already proven. But at the very mention of accountability of their vote, they immediately flee to the notion that they were forced to do it, as if they had no choice. It's textbook cult rationale. They can't articulate the things they observe to be worse than pedophilia, bigotry, and insurrection but they just "know" that whatever is on the other side of the compound walls MUST be worse.

You have to stop comparing ICE to the Gestapo - it's very unfair to the Gestapo. Gestapo agents were highly intelligent, for the most part, and extensively screened. They used psychological torture at first, then physical. ICE is like the SA - the original Brown Shirt stormtroopers. Bunch of criminals, sexual deviants, drunks, etc. that terrorized people with violence.

Why is Riley the only one who we need to express sadness for? There are murders every day in America. Are you only outraged and have to express it when it is committed by an illegal? Why are you not outraged by the 1500 to 2000 spousal murders in the US each year. Please link me to all the posts you made with the "expression of sadness or distaste" for those murders? Oh that's right, you only care about murders Cheeto tells you to care about.

oh GFY with this. Minnesota is not some hotbed of illegal immigrant activity. There have been 3 murders in Minneapolis - St. Paul this year, and two of them are by ICE agents. Yet this administration chose it as the urban area to send thousands of ICE agents to harass local Democrats. If this was about prosecuting illegal immigration they would be sending thousands of ICE agents into red communities in Florida and Texas. Minnesota was chosen for political reasons. Nothing more. so again: GFY.

Based on what I can see in the videos that I've watched and considering the totality of the circumstances as I perceive them, this shooting is clearly unjustified. I don't see any articulable facts and circumstances that would lead a reasonable officer, to reasonably be in fear of death or serious bodily injury for himself or anyone else. I suspect the shooter will argue that 1. He knew the Suspect was armed when the arrest began. 2. He didn't see or know the Suspect had been disarmed. 3. When the Suspect was kneeling, the shooter believed the suspect was freely reaching for his own weapon and he fired in defense before the Suspect could start shooting. I also suspect that argument will ultimately fail scrutiny at the State level. I expect that Pam Bondi won't recommend federal charges, but that doesn't preclude the DA's office or the State A.G. from empaneling a State Grand Jury and/or filing State charges against the Officer. The Civil case will be a slam dunk although I'd prefer it was never necessary. Mr. Pretti shouldn't be dead. This is what happens when the inept are hired en masse and their leadership is sorely lacking.

Hey, they have lives alright. It's Saturday night. WV Mike's got a date night planned with his sister, Zucker's watching Hannity and taking notes, Greenskeeper's hanging out outside of hospital rooms laughing raucously at people's death rattle...

Doyle is very intriguing. I was watching the Bears/Rams game and lamenting how the Bears were scheming guys wide open - I couldn't remember the Eagles doing that at all in 2025. Yes, he's young (29 or 30) and has never called plays, but he's worked for Payton and Johnson. As an added bonus, he's likely 2-3 years away from serious HC consideration. I'm not despondent over losing McDaniel (overrated IMO and a bad fit with Jalen) or Daboll (he's getting the Bills' job), and I think someone like this could inject fresh blood. Of the names that have been reported/rumored, I'd say my order is : Brady, Kingsbury (really hasn't been linked to us), Slowik and Doyle are my top tier. After that, I'd handle Cooter (I think he gets a bad rap, was once a hot name when Lions OC, been with Shane), Weis Jr (don't love no NFL experience). I'd be angry with Kafka, and I'd burn down the Linc if they hire Nagy.

Honestly a Harris presidency would have fallen somewhere between Obama and Biden. Not a great presidency by any stretch, but it would have been doable. Inflation would have come down, but prices wouldn't have, and she's not as effective as a communicator as Obama, so she would have been rolled in '28. Instead we got the end of conservatism as we know it and perhaps the only moron that could very likely lose what should be a slam dunk Senate midterm. Oh, and, you know, doing nothing to help stem the tide of authoritarianism abroad and enacting tariffs so asinine the only thing we're importing is fascism which is leading to the civil rights violations of citizens, not to mention their open murder at the hands of masked agents of the state. Honestly about the only positive I can take out of a Trump presidency is that the libleft is now pro-2A, so I got that going for me, which is nice.
  35. Paul852
That's where you're wrong. The problem is the people who are voting are worse than both of them. It's amazing that people continue to insist Kamala is "worse" than Trump. Nah, it's just that Trump voters are shi**y human beings.

Is that what back alley bjs are called now? Man i can never keep up with the jargon

I think you know the answer. The NRA successully lobbied Ronald Reagan to ban open carry in CA after black residents started buying and legally open carrying in CA during the Civil Rights movement. The NRA is not a gun rights group, they are a whites only, conservative gun rights group.

Frankly I don't care about who they developed, how what players played under them because that's not entirely in their control. The Eagles have veteran offensive players that just need a good process through the week of preparation, film study and designing plays to their strengths. And in game calling plays that suit the situation and making adjustments to what's not working. Really they need basic offensive coordinator 101. Someone that has experience calling plays that knows what to do in the right situations. Someone with enough experience to not use the wrong TE in the wrong situation, be predictable with the looks, ignore Tank Bigsby for reasons, get the play call in early enough to leave time on the clock so they're not always rushed. I mean having a great OC with creativity and innovation would be great. But an average OC would be a huge upgrade from Patullo. Still mind boggling Nick watched that all year and didn't intervene to change anything. Patullo should have been fired midway through the season.

The elephant in the room is that you can trace all these issues back to Nick Sirianni. As long as the Eagles have an offensive head coach who can't scheme up offense well, this will be a recurring problem. They will regularly need to replace the OC, and in some years based on the talent on the roster and circumstances within the organization, may not even be able to find a suitable replacement OC. It's why I think barring a Super Bowl next season, I think Sirianni is toast. Jeff Lurie is going to grow tired of doing this every year. He's going to want an offensive guru who is at no risk of leaving every year locked in and the only way to ensure that is if they're your head coach. Say the Eagles hire Joe Brady as OC and he improves the offense and the Eagles go to the divisional round or whatever next season and lose. And Joe Brady gets a HC job. Do you think Lurie is going to want to go through this BS all over again? Be late to start the OC search, risk not getting the guys you want... all because your offensive head coach isn't bright enough to scheme up and call an offense himself? Nick Sirianni is an objective anchor to this organization right now. And it's wild saying that given the record he's had here, but it's true. If the Eagles had an offense guru as the head coach, we wouldn't be going through any of this drama right now. And honestly, AJ Brown probably would be much happier too. Could you imagine trading the guy because he's unhappy because you can't run a functional offense because your head coach is a bozo? Now, no one would have a gun to Howie's head and if he did it(and I still believe strongly he won't) it would be his doing ultimately. But still. And crap, if Lane decides to retire, I bet him having to come back and play in a crap offense might be a factor too. Everything would be better if Sirianni was gone, and all the dysfunction goes back to the fact that you have a head coach who doesn't really do much of anything. And I think Lurie knows it which is why the Sirianni hot seat stories have started to resurface.
