AJ Brown potential trade talk
time2rock ·Curious to know what everyone thinks is going to happen with AJ this offseason. Does he get traded? Seems he was pretty checked out all season and was never more obvious than the WC game this past weekend. Maybe it is time for a change in scenery for him? Maybe they feel his attitude is disrupting team chemistry too much? Or do you think he is back, either because most of that nonsense seems to be overblown or just because the salary cap ramifications make it extremely difficult to do so (or per -

time2rock ·The new league year officially starts next week (March 11th) and the "legal tampering period” starts exactly one week from today (March 9th). We’ve already seen announcements of some trades that will be made official on March 11th (e.g. Montgomery traded by Lions to the Texans). Will use this thread to capture all Eagles-related free agency signings (players we sign, our own that sign elsewhere) and any trades we make. ___________________________________________________________________________ -
Biggest Concern Heading into the 2026 Season
time2rock ·I think Howie has done a pretty good job of assembling a team that, on paper, has the talent that should allow us to compete for another championship. Can we strengthen some positions (like safety)? Sure. But we rolled with a UDFA (Blank) at S and that didn't stop us from winning it all. Health of Dickerson and Jurgens is obviously a huge concern ... winning starts up front. If those guys miss significant time or are playing at far less than full strength again this season, how well will th

time2rock ·Vic Fangio notes: The safety battle, Riq Woolen's potential and more Eagles defensive coordinator Vic Fangio broke down the safety battle, talked about the newcomers and more on Thursday. By Dave Zangaro • Published May 23, 2026 Not only did Vic Fangio say he wasn’t close to retiring this offseason, but he also said he’s "good for two years, at least.” That’s great news for Eagles fans. And it’s honestly great news for Eagles reporters too, because no one is more honest than Fangio in a press

time2rock ·Where are the Eagles deep, and not so deep, after the 2026 NFL Draft: Defense edition The Eagles' defense is looking solid, maybe except for safety. By Jimmy Kempski PhillyVoice Staff Bill Streicher/Imagn Images Jeremiah Trotter Jr. could have a role in the Eagles' regular defense in 2026. While the Philadelphia Eagles could still add a veteran here or there to their roster before the start of the season, it is still probably somewhere around 95 percent set. Eli Stowers - WR or TE?
Procus ·The receiving prowess of Stowers is why he was drafted. He's got the length and all the physical traits to excel as a receiver. 50 years ago, the Eagles drafted a tall guy with the intention of having him play TE. He flopped as a TE. It was too physical for him. But he blossomed when moved out wide the next year, and went on to the NFL HOF. That man's name is Harold Carmichael I look at Stowers, and I don't see a replacement for Dallas Goedert. I see a replacement for AJ Brown. Could it -
Difference Makers
time2rock ·Difference Makers Posted May 20th, 2026 One of the things that separates good teams from great teams is what I’ll call difference-makers. These are players who can consistently make game-changing plays. All teams want them, but Howie Roseman is aggressive about adding them every year, if possible. He traded for AJ Brown in 2022. He drafted Jalen Carter in 2023. He signed Saquon Barkley in 2024. All three played a big part in the Eagles winning the Super Bowl. The Eagles traded for Jonathan Gre

This SB is not a Mismatch
SkippyX ·Narrative Morons want to pretend the real SB was on Sunday. It most definitely was not. Three teams won 14 games this year and only 2 of them had their starting QB last weekend. The only team that won 13 games did not win a playoff game (Jacksonville) The fraud of the 4 teams was LA, not New England. The Patriots easy schedule was in part because of the NFC South. The Jets x2 and the Cardinals x2 cancel out. The Bills and the Seahawks cancel out. The Rams and Seahawks also played the AFC South

Remaining holes to fill after draft
ManchesterEagle ·The roster and depth chart looks in pretty good shape after the draft (including the trade for Greenard which sorts our DE issues). Even with the inevitable AJ trade, our WR depth is pretty deep now. For me, there are three areas still to address over the next couple of months: 1) Interior line. The depth looks really weak here at the moment. Both Dickinson and Jurgens are injury risks. Feel like they definitely need to add a vet here. Would Becton work here again? 2) Safety. Appreciate they a -
Understanding Howie
time2rock ·Understanding Howie Posted May 11th, 2026 Howie Roseman is a complicated subject. When he makes an offseason move, Eagles fans go nuts with "Howie SZN!” Some opposing fans respond with "How did he do it again?”. They are frustrated with the constant stream of smart moves. The media rates him as the best or second best general manager in the league. John Schneider is getting a ton of love for what he did with Seattle last year. There are some people who think Howie is over-praised. I had one o

Eli to the Giants-Maybe some insight into why teams with lots of talent don't win
eglz1 ·The semi-slow period on the NFL calendar affords us time to take a trip in the wayback machine, 22 years to the spring of 2004, when Eli Manning was a fresh-faced Ole Miss product entering the draft. The story is well-known at this stage. The San Diego Chargers held the No. 1 pick. Manning, the top prospect, didn't want to play for the club. Eventually, the Chargers selected him but traded the QB to the New York Giants in exchange for Philip Rivers (No. 4 selection). Manning would go on to win t

2026 Eagles Schedule Prediction Thread
Wallyhorse ·My predictions for the 2026 season schedule. In doing this schedule, I'm assuming the Eagles will be on the road in Weeks 2-3 the Phillies close the regular season 9/27 at home and the weekend before, Ed Sherren has a concert at Lincoln Financial Field Saturday, Sept. 19 (While the Eagles could play at home Monday 9/28, I suspect MLB will request that day be held in reserve in case the Phillies have to play a makeup game at home that day). Also accounting for the Phillies likely getting to at l
