My guess is they outlaw this play after this season because the refs arnt able to officiate it properly...too much false start and offsides...and they cant see fumbles or takeaways

On a side note, it's impossible to "false start" when the defense is "lined up in the neutral zone." It's really not hard to see when a DT's helmet is past the center's helmet before the snap.

Had they called the TD correctly on the first goal line Tush Push, the false start on the 2nd attempt would have been irrelevant. So, cry me a river.

That seems to be the new narrative the league and announcers have been given to make the case for it.

Nevermind other plays where you can't see the ball like fumble recoveries. Never mind the plays where players are pushing the RB to get across the goal line which is also rugby-like. There are other plays that are hard to officiate, other plays with inconsistent calls/non-calls. But this is an issue because the Eagles do it so well at such a high success rate and because it's Philly and everyone hates Philly they want to stop it. Other teams run it and don't do it as well, so it's not the play that is the issue.

When Mahomes flips the ball like a basketball that's "not real football" either but it gets celebrated. They've tried injury, pace of play and other things that have been disproven so now they're going with officiating.

Chiefs knew they couldn’t stop it so they just took an offsides penalty. Siri was like nope penalty declined. Run it. 😂😂😂

We're under attack from fascists trying to override the democratic process that voted to keep this play in. The league doesn't want it anymore and is trying to implement dictator rhetoric to get their way.

Stand back and stand by. We need to hold down the fort and cannot give in.

I hope we can win the Super Bowl this year because after this game it’s getting banned.

Run the Tush Push 4,654 times this year/season, shove it down the NFL and other Teams throat, because it will get shut down for next season.

The Birds, however, will adjust to the new rule, and run some plays off of that formation, IMO.

The league has been drumming up support to ban it for 4-5 years now. It's getting banned. There will be a crucial situation, where a false start will affect the game, called on us. Just use it when you can, for as long as you can.

I posted this on another non football related forum and most of the responses i got was "yeah they won because they cheated"...blah blah blah

All I know is I am sick of hearing about it. The media has to sell, get clicks, etc etc etc. It's much ado about nothing. It's the most basic stone age football play there is. It is REAL football. The ones wanting it banned can't stop it. Nobody gets injured. NFL and media- SHUT THE F up about it. Play ball.

The announcers talked about the tush push for like a half hour already, and it's the 1st quarter of the Rams game. . Everybody just shut the f up about the play. It's NOT a big deal. Imma turn the sound down anytime I hear anything about it.

That's why I'm like just run that effing play ALL THE DAMN TIME. Make the stupid announcers sick to their stomachs that that even have to comment on it.

Like, say the Birds get the ball at their own 40 yard line aftet a punt. Run the GD tush push every single play! Get down to like the 25 yard line and then run a TE pop pass to surprise the D. 😊

Nice td to Barkley of the TP formation. Maybe it will keep other teams more honest when they line up for the push
