They said it was too hard to officiate, and the stats showed it was rarely called anyway. This proposal is solely about stopping the Eagles. And Brandt is right about this, watch:It’s so clear that it’s about stopping us! And yet the reports are it’s failed and it hasn’t been voted out. If that’s true then the NFL should do the whole without prejudice thing and stop it coming up next year.
May 21May 21 F roger goodell for pushing Green Bay( no pun intended) to raise this in the committee for a ban. In my opinion, time for that **** to retire.

May 21May 21 I hope the Eagles run this play so many times that Jalen Hurts scores 30 plus rushing touchdowns next season. 😂
May 21May 21 I hope the Eagles embarrass the Packers in the week 10 matchup. If they have a chance to run up the score, do it.Never had an issue with the Packers organization until this ish. Screw them and the other teams that voted to ban the play.Push on! 🦅

Roger wont take the loss on this - he will do everythign he can to reduce its effectiveness. Expect lots of bogus penalties being called, and every 50/50 decision on the spot going the way of the D. Get the Eagles effectiveness on the play down and it will slowly go away.

But it's the owners who have the vote, not the coaches. Hard to know if Gannon and/or Steichen's stances are that they're fine with the play but their owners feel differently.
May 22May 22 I want a Stoutland statue to be our next statue.I'm surprised and pleased by the Lions and happy the Saints voted against. I'm sure Moore had some influence. I would think he probably wants to run the play, knowing the inner workings of it's design. Unsurprisingly, it was overwhelming supported by NFC teams and almost 50/50 in the AFC. No bias to see here. This is clearly a targeted attack by teams who would benefit from not having to stop it. F all of them.
May 22May 22 With the vote being as close as it was to reaching 75%, you can bet this will back up for discussion again next year.
