My brother and I just had literally the worst week of our life... family tragedy. We decided to still go because I had suite tickets and we needed a break and to try to get our minds off it for a bit. It was just very unclear with so many different things. Now I know.. but if it's your first time going to a game, it's really stressful and confusing. I'm sorry to hear about your family tragedy. That does suck. But, 70k fans all entering or leaving at the same time is always going to be a nightmare. It pays to plan ahead as much as possible. I was a season ticket holder while in college... was the easiest thing in the world for me. Hop on the Blue line, transfer to the Orange line at City Hall... repeat on the return trip. The trip down was a party before getting to the stadium... party continued on the ride back after a big win. Was a therapy session after a loss. (Unfortunately, I was a season ticket holder from 1996-1999... many more therapy sessions than parties after the game.) I understand wanting to go home after the game... but I think the best move is to just hang in the suite for a while and watch the players gather on the field. No one is going home quickly, so you might as well pass the time as comfortably as possible.

You really need to plan ahead: How are you getting there? If parking, which lot and how will you approach it? What gate will you enter? How do you get to your seats from the gate?... My condolences for your family tragedy.
October 25, 20231 yr I remember parking at CBP for an Eagles game and it literally took me 20 minutes to pull out of my spot. Then it took another 20 minutes to move 5 feet.

We went to leave basically right after the coaches shook hands.

No. A lot of them mill about on the field greeting and swapping stories, etc. Its not like HS where they all go off together. Each goes to his friends, former teammates on the opposition and have a little meet and greet for a bit. Its not terribly long, but long enough to let things clear a little bit. Even waiting about 10-15 minutes can save you a little bit of anxiety in the car... and then just take the walk back to the vehicle very slowly. High five everyone you see on the way out after a big win and enjoy having been there to see it. There's really no fast way out other than public trans, so once you make the decision to drive, you've made the decision to be there well before and well after the game. Baseball and football are complete opposites in that, for a variety of reasons, not the least of which is the size of the stadiums. There's 70k fans... plus another 1k plus of employees, etc. Pretty much everyone sticks around to a certain point in the game... especially a good game and a close game like that one. Whereas in baseball you'll have about half as many folks, and more of a trickle out effect towards the end most nights. Baseball has 81 regular season home games, so sneaking out an inning or two early for season ticket holders happens a lot. NFL Football was 8 or 9 regular season home games... much less leaving early especially during a big win.
October 25, 20231 yr Author I went to a game in a suite at the Phillies game and an Eagles game this year. The Eagles food is much better. It was actually pretty good. The Phillies stuff really wasn’t. My only complaint was the chocolate chip cookies were burned a bit. but for example, an eagles suite they give you a real big cheesesteak. It was pretty good. The ones of the Phillies is not a real cheesesteak .

How far can you actually venture in to the tunnel or how much can you interact with the players? What sort of food and drinks do they have there? How's the view? etc. Bro you created 8 different topics with questions or complaints about visiting the stadium. I merged them all and moved to a forum dedicated to visiting the stadium.
November 1, 20231 yr Author I have never heard SO MUCH profanity at a sporting event. There are children there, and the way some of these adults behave and the excessive loud cursing they use.... it's inappropriate and it's part of why Eagles fans get this bad reputation.
