I think they try to recoup some picks back after trading up for Young but I don't think they get rid of their best player. Especially since the defense has been the best part of their season thus far
October 16, 20231 yr Burns is not a need on this team. Good player, but we don't need him. We obviously have been looking for answers in the secondary and right now, that's the only area we should be looking for in a trade. Also, for those suggesting Barnett to Carolina, that just wouldn't make much sense on their part. "Fire sales" are not about trading for players.Â

Especially since the defense has been the best part of their season thus far Yup, Burns is 25 years old and has 42 sacks in a shade over 4 years, he's one of the keystones you rebuild around, he's the last player they'd trade.
