Jerry Jeudy (WR, Broncos) - TRADED TO CLEVELAND

Depending on what the Broncos asking price is for Jeudy at this juncture, it might be worthwhile to look into a potential trade to upgrade at WR3 behind A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith. Quez Watkins has shown plenty of "potential" since getting drafted, but he's had a history of crucial drops in key points of games and shies away from contact at the end of his routes. It's quite telling that Jalen Hurts ignored a wide open Watkins in the end zone against the Rams, after he had dropped a catchable pass earlier in the game that could have gotten the team a 1st down. Olamide Zaccheaus has been decent in the limited action that he has gotten, but doesn't have the upside of Jeudy.

There's likely going to be a team with a bigger need at WR that will outbid us, but I'd consider a Jeudy trade if he can be had for a late Day 3 pick + Quez Watkins or something along those lines. Perhaps he thrives as our WR3 after reuniting with Jalen Hurts? Jeudy is under contract for next season as well (albeit a big cap hit with the 5th year option).

With the Dolphins making a move for Chase Claypool despite having one of the best WR duos in the league in Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, there certainly is precedent for the Eagles to make a trade like this.

How much would we be giving up for a #3 WR?  Seems like a poor use of resources.

I don't think the problem with the Offense is about personnel.  It's more about game planning and playcalling and execution.  Adding a WR won't fix that.
