It seemed like the Eagles REALLY wanted to lose this game, especially Jalen who performed absolutely horrifically. Imagine getting paid $50 million a year for this. They were actually really lucky to be 5-0. This game they just did SO many things terribly that I knew they were not going to win.  The Jets put basically no effort in to winning this, and it didn't seem like the Eagles were very interested in beating this awful team and their mediocre QB. I mean sheesh, at least lose to someone who is actually good.  Wish we had Nick as our Franchise QB like we should've all these years.

Another Troll with hardly any posts

Where’s Nick Foles these days? 🤔

They may not be a perfect team and Wilson, IMO, is a joke, but I saw that team give 100% effort.

The problem with fans these days is they buy into all the hype and believe the best teams are so much better than the worst teams when in reality, the gap is not very large. Even bad teams are full of NFL level players that are capable of putting together good games. The Jets were expected to have a Super Bowl caliber defense this season and even with the injuries they managed to make key plays all game long. The Jets earned the win.

they kept turning the ball over. What was it three interceptions and a fumble? One fewer mistake, and they probably win. The Jets could not get in the end zone until the end of the game. This was not a situation where they got out played the whole game. This was such a winnable game and they just didn’t want to win it seemed like.

This team hasn't been playing good football and have yet to put a complete game together this season.  Just go back to their other games. This team was  constantly  trying to find ways to lose in quite a few of those..This time they found a way.

Some of you fans who think these are the worst games you've ever seen must be 12 years old and just started watching.  The Eagles have some dark, bleak periods in their history and some awful, truly cringe games.

The talent among the NFL isn't that disparate, with parity it truly is "any given Sunday."  Yesterday's game was very frustrating, for me it's mostly when it's self-inflicted wounds like play calling, decisions, penalties, turnovers or missing tackles, things like that.  The Jets played a good game and were prepared.  There were also a lot of injuries to both teams and the field conditions there are horrendous and should be banned.  That affects both teams but they're used to playing on their home field like that.

Almost their entire secondary was hurt, Jalen Carter, Lane Johnson (they have a losing record when he doesn't play).  They should have won, they made mistakes that were avoidable.  But there have been worse games.

The Jets played absolutely lights out, this was their A+ game.  Defense proved why it might be best in the NFL and Zach played within himself.  Nothing shameful about this loss, they almost beat KC with a sloppier effort than this one.

Eagles fans are living in a bubble, not realizing the other top contenders have also been struggling.  That's competition and league parity in the NFL. It's not college where you get cupcake teams half the time.  Every game is a challenge, and even "bad" teams play great on "any given Sunday."

Chiefs this year lost to the Lions, then won by slim margins in close games other than blowing out the Bears:

  • Jaguars 17-9
  • Bears 41-10
  • Jets 23-20
  • Vikings 27-20
  • Broncos 19-8

Cringe worthy for sure, but every teams lays an egg once or twice a year.  Let's see how they respond next week before we write the whole season off.

It didn't feel much like an egg, It's been a long, long time since I saw a team totally dominate Eagles OLine like that.  Jets got a pack of animals up front.  Knowing Kelce & Johnson, they will be rabid mad about it and look to take it out against a much softer Miami front.

imagine loosing to zach wilson...i cant

If they lost to Rodgers it’s one thing .. Wilson is not a starter quality QB.

No ish

Yeah by the 4th quarter it was clear no one wanted to win that game and just wanted it to be over. Even Jake missed a FG.

The Jets were absolutely playing to win and their defense forced the Eagles into those big mistakes. The Eagles tried to take advantage of the injuries in the Jets' secondary and it didn't pay off.

Ironic, you're the poster-boy for blaming the refs when there's a bad play against the Eagles...."OMG he was holding so-and-so" 🤣

I agree. The Jets are a good football team that lost Aaron Rodgers 4 plays into the season. They have a very good and some are suggesting even a Super Bowl Defense.

Zac Wilson is not Aaron Rodgers and thus the Jets Offense has struggled. But he played well enough between the 20s on Sunday to keep his team in the game while their D worked incredibly hard to shut down our Offense.

The New York Jets won in the trenches. They dominated our O line and that is why they won.

It didn't help that we didn't even try to run the football. We did nothing to try and relax the pressure they were getting on Jalen. All that added up to a loss on Sunday.

The Chiefs barely got past the Jets the week before. It’s not like the Jets are the 2017 Browns

FAR worse games as those of us who survived the kotite and Rhodes era witnessed......

There is a REASON they have a losing record when Lane Johnson is out.....

Mostly due to the guy they get to replace him can’t really play generally.

The Eagles were on cruise control until Lane went down. Once that happened they lost two of their starting linemen on the same side of the line. They were still trying to do their deep throws when they didn’t have the offensive line capable of sustaining that.

This is an agenda thread, because this is just the same clown taking an opportunity to bring up Foles once again. Yeah because Foles never once had a bad game as an Eagle right? 🙄
