I'm not sure.  Go watch that whole episode on YouTube, it was really good to hear more about the practical aspects and logistics and the logic and Howie's thought process.

While it's always better to have higher picks, I think the point he was making is Howie dealt "extra" picks that weren't the Eagles original picks.  One of them was even originally a Titans pick we gave back to them.

If he helps win games and they win a Super Bowl this year, no one will care about 5th and 6th round picks.  They already have a bunch of comp picks in the 5th round coming.  They actually have traded away all their own original picks in rounds 3 and after.  Their only original picks are 1 and 2, and they have the Saints 2nd.  He'll probably trade back at some point or do some other trade to acquire another pick or 2.  He trades up a lot when he wants to.  

I wouldn't worry about draft position in the 5th and 6th round, when they add a veteran player to help them get over the hump to win a SB.
