The Eagles are laying a TD+ on the road at Washington with a relatively short total. This is an important game to put in the "win" column for the Eagles, as the next three games are against Dallas, Kansas City and Buffalo. 

Some interesting trends as we work through the first third of the season:

Not that surprising. The Eagles just beat an SB favorite fairly handily and the Commanders look so lost their fans aren’t even betting on them. This game is probably going to feel like another Eagles home game, but the Eagles would be smart not to take this team lightly. They have done that once already and it cost them. On a side note Jalen must be fine otherwise there’s no chance the line would be this high especially on the road.

The line makes sense but I wouldn’t back us on that line. Divisional games are just too weird I think.

Divisional games are always tough, and the Commanders really want to make a statement I would guess, but I have a hard time believing this will be that game for them.

Commies have played the Eagles tough over the years, but I remember some recent blowouts too. The Eagles need to get their big three going and I think they will cruise.

And a date with the hated Cowboys is on the horizon the next week, followed by the bye then the rematch with the Chiefs.

This is an important game for the Eagles, so the coaches need to keep the team sharp and focused. 

I'm not a believer in Howell. Dline eats

I am worried about their Dline because of Lane not being 100%

It seems like Washington pretty much plays "up" to the Eagles?

I want a freaking blowout!! I want the backups in the game by the 4th quarter!!

It would be nice to see a game like that this season. I agree.

In recent years we’ve seemed to have more issues with them at home than in Washington. Most of our convincing wins have been on the road.

Yeah seems like we play more focused on the road and dont mess around. We are just too lackadaisical at home. The exception was the Miami game.

I can't imagine that Wash will have the success on Offense again on the Eagles Defense. But you never know. I didn't expect the Birds Defense to play so well against the Dolphins and they sure balled out.

Yeah agreed! That Wash offense isn’t very good and I think we should be able to get after Howell. But we thought that going in to the last game and it didn’t quite work out.

We still had 5 sacks iirc so getting after Howell isn't an unreasonable expectation since literally every opponent has. We need to play clean on offense and not give them any additional chances to score

I’m hoping the previous game between these two serves as a reminder that we can’t take them lightly.

The eagles defensive line has been a monster since the last foreksins game....and I think they have a huge game on sunday.....

Anxious to see Byard get some snaps also.

I think the eagles offense is starting to click better......

Just have a feeling about this game that I hope is right.......the commies are in disarray, the eagles are starting to get it together and I think the eagles dominate this game.
