Posted November 6, 20231 yr You know especially next week ESPN will be hyping the snot out of the Super Bowl rematch that is on ESPN and ABC November 20 and is the next game for both.
November 6, 20231 yr I don't think anyone is playing exceptional this year. It seems to be a down year across the league. Maybe the Jags/Bengal are looking the best lately? I would put them in the top 4 with the Eagles and Chefs. The Chefs have not looked the part this year. Mahomes makes plays when he needs too but has otherwise looked pedestrian. The last couple of games, he has looked very pedestrian. When you take away Travis Kelce, or Kelce has struggled, that offense just doesn't go. If they are still struggling when we play or we can manage to take away Kelce we should be able to get the win. If Mahomes is on and hooks up with Kelce at will, it's going to be a long day.
November 6, 20231 yr Dallas was far more crucial than the Chiefs. Super Bowl is usually a lottery. What isn’t a lottery is the chances of getting there with the number 1 seed. 13-4 should secure it, although Lions have pretty easy run in. More important to take 2 of 3 from Seahawks, Cowboys and Niners than beat the Bills or Chiefs.

I have the Eagles losing to the Chiefs but then running the table while the Lions run the table and both finish 15-2. Eagles get the 1 seed in that scenario on a 12-0 conference record (vs. 11-1 for the Lions).

Lions have 5 division games left that is a tough stretch no matter how bad those teams are, division games are not easy at all.

I don’t think the Lions will win out. They have Vikings twice and Cowboys away. Expect them to drop a couple of those and maybe one other. 14-3 secures one seed and 13-4 probably does in my view.
November 7, 20231 yr When was the last time we beat the chiefs? Can't see it happening but would love to put one over mahomes and kelce

Even if the Eagles go .500 over their next four they pretty much have put themselves in a great spot to win the Conference and get home field. They have attributed themselves well through adversity. This bye week came at the best possible time. It also makes it so Goedert misses one less game. The offensive line will finally be back intact and the secondary will get some pieces back. Overall the Eagles win ugly, but they win. As such I wouldn’t count them out against any team.

Next 5 opponents (kc, buf, sf, dal, sea) are 8-7 over their last 3 games. All these teams have flaws as do we. If we can finally get some continuity in the secondary that'd be huge. Wouldn't be surprised to see us go 4-1 in that stretch. The 4th quarter fortitude we been building I think will loom large

I’m sure when the Eagles beat these guys people will keep saying that "the better team loss.” The lack of respect for the Eagles is a joke.

This isn't ncaa) 2023 - they only win ugly, refs are bailing them out, they don't look like last yr The media makes me lol
November 7, 20231 yr Team needs to get as healthy as possible, spend extra time in the film room learning their opponents, and work on improving their fundamentals. 2 weeks of productive rest can recharge them and help them to hit the ground running for the back stretch of this season.
November 7, 20231 yr Chiefs offense has looked pedestrian this season, but with our secondary and AR getting a bye week to prepare a gameplan, I expect Kermit to completely light us up. Hope I'm wrong, but I'm not liking the matchup.

Hold on the the football. Protect it with your life sort of stuff. Score TDs in the Red zone. Also learn to defend the pass and we good.

Most important thing. 3 and 0 in the division and 6 and 0 in the conference. Only loss to an AFC team also helps. Currently that almost doesn't even count as a loss because of the way the conference is shaping up. A win against the chiefs is what a real moral victory looks like. (F*** Dallas.) But in terms of positioning it's not currently the most important factor. SF is looking questionable I can see them dropping another game. Dallas might be the biggest threat and their searching for moral victories in a huge divisional loss that had major playoff implications. I can see them dropping another game as well. As long as we take care of business we are in a great place.
