November 14, 20231 yr Feels like a good game to bet the under. Â SB was a shootout. Â Mahomes owns this defense and this may be the worst Philly secondary Mahomes has ever seen. Â Our passing offense is really starting to find itself. With the way the NFL has gone this year, it feels like a good time for an inexplicable, sloppy, low scoring defensive battle.

November 14, 20231 yr Remember: the Chiefs lost to the Broncos. And in their earlier game struggled to come from behind to win only 19-8.  Eagles fans have been screaming the sky is falling and fear the Chiefs. They also lost to the Lions, and in some wins have struggled and looked bad. Mahomes hasn't been great this season yet people still worship him. The Eagles are the best team in the NFL and are now facing "the gauntlet." There is no team that should scare an Eagles fan at all. The Chiefs are beatable and have struggled. The 49ers lost 3 games in a row (yeah, injuries, Eagles have had a lot of injuries too and keep winning). The Bills are only 5-5 and just lost to the Broncos as well. We already beat the Cowboys.  This stretch of games is still going to be a tough one..but other teams should also be worried about playing the Eagles. They don't give up and find ways to win even in ugly wins.

It definitely is not a certainty vote. The point of the post was that outside of the Eagles, as much as we could be better, there really wasn't any solid team out there.  How about you pick two teams outside of the Chiefs and Eagles. Ravens - Looked solid but nothing extraordinary Jags - Up and down and just got smoked Dolphins - extreme highs and lows Steelers - Appreciate the moxy but seem to be limping along Browns - It's the browns Texans - This is how bad this year is  Lions - haven't beat a team over .500 since opening night. (Technically, i think one of the teams was over .500 when they played_ 49'ers - Very hot and very cold Saints - I got nothing Seahawks - You go Geno Smith Girls - Haven't beat a team over .500 and lost to the Cards Vikings - The fact that they are a playoff team without Cousins is hilarious Â
November 15, 20231 yr Chiefs fan who stopped by last winter. Kinda wild to see the vibe of both fanbases and how much different it seems now. Teams are both sitting on HF advantage and multi game leads, but plenty of concern about performance. Â Success has probably made both sides a bit spoiled as these are very good teams. My sense is this will be a FG fest. If either team can manage two TDâs, that will be the game. 23-19 eagles win.

Anyone believing the media this will now be âeasyâ is fooling themselves. Chiefs-Bills-49ers still will be as difficult as it gets. And personally the game against the Bills is the one I think we are most likely to lose.

Mahomes and the WRâs arent ok the same page right now and the Eagles are too good for things to improve enough in just two weeks. Also think the Eagles DL vs Chiefs OL is a much different matchup than last year. I view this Eagles DL as a more imposing unit and the Chiefs OL has changed their tackles out. Chiefs OL isnt bad, but its not playing as well as it was last year. Chiefs defense isnt great at stopping the run and AJ Brown will likely get one or two game changing plays.       Â

Theyâre an up and down team with no consistency whatsoever. Itâs just been put in your head to be nervous about that team. They are 5-5 for a reason and just fired their OC. Ten games in and their record is .500. I get it. They have the great Josh Allen so everyone is scared of the big guy who can run, but Josh Allen isnât Mahomes, and our quarterback the bum they tried to make him out to be either. Â The Bills have the same record as the New Orleans Saints. If the Saints were marching in are you really trying to tell me you would be scared to face them in Philly too? The Eagles get the Bills and 49ers at home. Letâs not underestimate the Eagles home field advantage either.Â

Letâs hope Iâm wrong. This coming week we play a much better quarterback than he is right now, and I seem to recall the Eagles playing against the one they call the G.O.A.T., him throwing for over 500 yards, and the Eagles still winning. We just saw Dak throw for nearly 400, and the Eagles still won. We saw the Eagles go up against "the best offense in the NFLâ and they won. They went up against the return of Cooper Cup to go with the Rams dynamic young WR and a healthy Stafford, and won. Sam Howell had the greatest games of his career against the Eagles and they won. So my point is you are what your record indicates who you are. They are no better than the Saints. Any given Sunday any team has a chance, but to worry about the Bills is like worrying about the Saints.
November 15, 20231 yr As I said in the Hawkeye thread, if the officiating is fair we should win easy. Our secondary is really the only issue here imo. We're the better team imo, so there's no fear there. I hope we kick their butts here, and in a rematch for the SB this season.
