I’m not going to act like this will be easy. Heck none of the Eagles games have been easy so far, but people are acting like the Eagles don’t belong on the same field as these guys. I beg to differ.

I was mostly referring to the Bills, but they have already beaten the Cowboys and the 49ers recently. This game verses the Chiefs in their home will be a tough task especially after a bye week.

Tiebreakers matter.  The Eagles only loss being to an AFC opponent is a benefit versus had that loss come against a divisional foe.    That's not to say that they can throw away games against AFC opponents, but they definitely don't carry the same weight as others.

The 49ers game will have massive impact on the playoff seeding, because a loss to the 49ers gives them the head to head tiebreaker AND moves them a game closer to the Eagles in the standings.  That's a huge swing.  Meanwhile, a win over the 49ers pretty much knocks the 49ers completely out of the hunt for HFA and the main focus can shift almost exclusively to Detroit.   Same with the 2nd Dallas game.  Eagles lose that, the division stays in question.  But, a win over Dallas to sweep the season series pretty much seals the deal for the Eagles to win the division and secures at least one home playoff game.

Right, I agree.  I said what matters is playoff seeding, which you cited various things that will affect playoff seeding.

I meant, people will hype this game as meaning something that it might not because it's a SB rematch.  They'll hype 49ers as well.  People will read into whoever wins means they will do this or that in the playoffs.  Anything can happen in the playoffs.

In the grand scheme of things regarding the playoffs, losing to the Chiefs won’t hurt nearly as bad as losing to the 49ers. This s isn’t a must win game for the Eagles and it’s in a difficult spot. I would be nice to run the gauntlet and spend the final couple weeks of resting though. The Lions do have a relatively easy schedule coming up for the second half of the season though. Their toughest opponent is probably the Vikings. They play the Cowboys, but they don’t beat teams with winning records. 😂
