I was dreading this part of the schedule, now i can't wait

Im not afraid of any of these next four teams. In fact im looking forward to see how the Eagles will kick their butts.

Am i being wrongly overconfident? I guess i just see Hurts getting better each week(that dart he threw to Devonta was Rodgers-esque), the offense playing with more confidence, and the defense will finally be well rested.

And i think they will finally unleash DeAndre Swift. Theyve been keeping him fresh for so long just for this moment.

I would like to see this team close out a game. One first down on any of those last three drives pretty much closes out the game. But they couldnt manage even one. I think Swift picked up 8 yards on first down on one of those possessions too. We passed the next two plays and punted.

Taking that shot to AJ on 3rd and 3. Cool be aggressive I hear that. But we didn't get it. Instead, if you run twice and don't get it you kill like a minute. A bomb to AJ takes about 10 seconds. In this case the kill shot was not a deep ball, it was the amount of clock you can kill. Aggressiveness is great but sometimes being aggressive means different things.

In the first Washington game. They go for the kill shot and score a TD. Great, it was a great play and appeared aggressive. It also worked. But than you let Washington drive, score, and tie the game forcing overtime. You literally could have run out the clock and kicked a FG for the win. In this case the kill shot was not a TD. It was killing the clock. The TD nearly cost the game.

Situational football gets more important as the season gets deeper. It becomes crucial in the playoffs. This team has consistently been poor in this area and I hope it is a major part of any bye week study. We are in a great place but these games are becoming more important each week. If this team can put together a complete game they are unstoppable. We need to see Swift involved. The run game was lighting teams up early in the season. We have to get that back. The turnovers have to stop. We were so good with the football last year. Its crazy how many times we have given the ball away.

Defense has got to get healthy. If that really is what is going on in the secondary we need to get these guys back because Sunday night was like a CeeDee Lamb highlight film.

The positives are huge and mostly outweigh the negatives and I think we can beat any team in the league as long as we play a clean game. The vast majority of adversity we have face this season has been self imposed.

I’m not dreading these teams, but I do feel the loss of Goedert will be bigger than we realize. Some of these quarterbacks we have allowed to have some big games compared to some of the guys coming up is a bit concerning. We have already let Dak eat us up. Still it led to a loss for them. People might not remember it, but the Eagles offense struggled a bit after Goedert went down last season. Hurts is hurt and he’s been gutting it out like a real trooper, but if someone hits that knee the wrong way we could be seeing weeks of Mariota and I for one do not want that. So I’m cautiously optimistic about these games. I don’t think the Eagles go undefeated, but hopefully they can get some other guys back who can help improve the team overall.

IMO the only team as good as the Eagles this year would be a healthy O-line Dolphins with Jalen Ramsey in the lineup.

If that's the SB then I will be cautiously optimistic.

No other team is on the Eagles level.

The Chiefs are always tough but the rest of the schedule is not much.

SF is a joke.

Dallas is very beatable.

Seattle is a mess

Buffalo is 5-4, has been demolished by injuries on D, and Allen is not living up to the top 3 QB promise of his 2020 regular season and 2021 playoffs.

I'm not used to positive posts from you, are you alright?

They call this schedule the gauntlet, funny thing though.... we're the gauntlet!

I’m excited on the basis that we are really going to find out now good this team is. And we don’t have to even win all of these games for us to know. If we lose to KC but in a close game and say beat SF and Buffalo that’s huge. That will tell us a lot about this team and where we are at.

I've been saying for weeks that everyone should be scared of the Eagles not the Eagles being scared of their Schedule.  Andy Reid and Pete Carroll have never lost to the Eagles.  They are both due.   The Birds are in both The Boys and San Fran's heads.  It's like they always thinking about the Eagles and what they are doing. The Boys feel good for just "Hanging" with us.  It was a Moral Victory for them to lose by 5 points while self destructing on the final drive at 1st and Goal, lol.   San Fran could very well lose 4 straight (Dougie P has those Jags rolling at 6-2) and Purdy is looking like a Rookie that can't win without everything going right.

Dallas could lose a game or two before we even met up again.    Lastly there's Buffalo who clearly hasn't looked the greatest while being up and down at 5-4.  I think the Eagles could go 5-0 during this Gauntlet.  I think they win both Home Games Vs Bills and 49ers.    Then win at the very worst two out of 3 Road games with KC, Dallas and Seattle.   So if they go 4-1 before the Giants/Arizona/Giants finish. They might have a better record than last year (15-2).  But I believe the KC game will be the hardest of the 5 to me. Andy, Super Bowl Rematch, Taylor Swift sideshow will be there (She supposed to be an Eagles fan, lol).

If that’s how we end up then I mean we are winning the SB (barring key injuries late in the year). To finish with even 13 wins with the schedule we’ve got and after losing in the SB would be I mean just incredible.

Knowing the Birds, they will go 5-0 during the Gauntlet Games and lose a Fluky game to Giants or Arizona as the 2nd Loss, lol (Will probably rest starters in Week 18 Vs GMen)  But if they get back to back #1 Seeds then yes they have a nice path to the Bowl Again as both teams will have to come through Philly.

Hell, if they go 3-2 during that stretch (winning Buffalo, SF and Seattle), they'd be 11-3 with the Giants twice and the Cardinals so 14-3 is well within reach.  Even if they go 2-3 (still needing the SF win and Buffalo)...13-4.  The problem isn't Dallas or SF in that case especially if/when we beat SF....the Lions are right behind us and they have a pretty easy schedule.

No game is safe with this trashcan secondary...It sure would be great if Desai got is head out of his ass. That would help.

I'm not trying to make excuses but let's see what happens after the bye.  Getting Roby back, getting healthy (hopefully) and having a normal rotation that they can get used to playing together should help.  I mean Roby, Slay, Blankenship, Byard and Bradberry make a solid backfield.  Problem is, they haven't played together and stayed healthy as a unit.

I only see us losing to KC and Dallas (both road games) the rest of the way and road to the Super Bowl will go through Philly again.

Yes, these are all above average NFL teams meaning would could conceivably lose to any of them.

I was really looking forward to this part of the schedule. A stretch of good teams every week. It's like an early playoff run practice. I want to see if the Eagles belong with the top teams in the NFL. The Chiefs are good and Arrowhead is notoriously difficult to play in. But recently the Bills and 49ers are not as strong as they once were. They may not be the best teams in their division anymore. Those games are in Philly. Then it's 2 road games: It's always a war against the Cowboys. And Seattle is looking pretty good. They won't be easy. But the Eagles don't have to be perfect through this stretch either. They need to go 3-2 or better, which sets them up for a home seed in the playoffs.

Bring it on!

Everyone already has the excuses loaded into the barrel for if the Eagles still win 13-15 games.  All we heard before the season started was "well now you won't have a cupcake schedule, you'll have one of the hardest schedules so you will be exposed for the frauds you are", now I am already hearing the new narrative starting to get thrown around early since the Eagles are doing well so far, now the new narrative is "you've had the refs in your back pocket nearly every game this season because they screwed you in the Super Bowl so now they're trying to make it up to you".  The other reason i'm seeing this narrative thrown around about the refs is "because of revenue reasons the NFL really wants to see another Kelce Bowl but this time with the Taylor Swift fans added in"

We have won many close games we could easily have lost.
