Think I might be in the wrong place because the team I love is currently two games clear in its division and has the best record in the NFL. Seriously, relax and enjoy this ride while it lasts, because it won´t last forever

For what it's worth I'm pretty sure the Eagles could blow out the Tommy DeVito Giants, they were absolutely awful, one of the worst performances I've seen on both sides of the ball all season. The worst thing was they blatantly quit on the game, half assing tackles and not really chasing runners. I'd be absolutely raging if I was a Gina's fan watching that.

I mean I’d like to believe that too but I just feel like we’d end up making it a close game. I feel like we play up and down to our opponent. Ultimately we win most of the time which is what matters.

Most important thing is to win.

Doesn't matter how, think we can all agree the Cowboys game was a heart attack job, but the team managed to get it done.

May lose next week, no worries, I'd rather beat KC in February given a choice.

Go 5-3 from hereon in and in all likelihood, they have HFA.

Just want the Eagles to be healthy come playoff time.

The Eagles will be fine.

All Cowboys wins are against teams with losing records.

Their 3 losses are to us, 49ers & the 1-8 Cardinals.

I’m not worried about what other teams are doing or how much they are winning by, I’m just enjoying the ride, go Eagles!

Maybe great teams don’t want to show off all their best plays and playmakers before the playoffs in meaningless games. Knuckleheads who annually underperform like Dallas do things like that - Bill Belicheck in his prime, never did.

I think there is some truth to this and I've said it in here a few times.  I honestly think they overlook weaker teams that they think they can beat to spend more time preparing for a strong team 2 weeks out.  I like the strategy of keeping your cards close and gaming the schedule...but from time to time it's going to burn you.

Have we had garbage time? I’ve only recalled weekly heart attacks at the end of games

I would rather play more games that come down to the final few possessions, especially when you are winning them like the Eagles have done...you know the players are calm and cool under pressure, they expect to execute and ultimately do so and win...plus blow outs generally just suck.

It’s Philly. They rarely blow out teams and always make things harder than it needs to be.

Btw the 49ers in the previous 3 games lost.

This is the team you want to be like?

49ers were without several key players in those games.  They got them back plus had Chase Young for the Jags game and showed what they are capable of.

I don't care. Eagles have a bunch of injuries and only lost 1 game.

Poor Saquon... wasting away over there

Purdy still played like crap in those 3 games and he wasn't injured.

Another team in "the gauntlet" is now 5-5 and just lost to the Broncos.

These teams should fear the Eagles.

Bills fans are turning on McDermott, like he's responsible for Josh Allen's inconsistency.

Blowouts also lead to teams smelling themselves.  Don't mind one every now and again for my anxiety

Right. The Cowboys and their fans are all up in their feelings again. It took one blowout against one of the worst teams in the league and their back apparently.

You could say the same about us? and we lost to Zach Wilson.

The defense is still a major concern...

Pats have scored 20+ 2x this year, 1 against us

The commanders scored 31 2x against us, 30+ in 1 other game.

We rank in the bottom 6 in every major passing category:

Pass yards allowed: 26th

Pass attemppts: 28th

pass completions: 30th

Pass TDS allowed: 30th

RZ TD %:26th

3rd down %: 24th

Our next games:

Chiefs, Bills, 49ers, Cowboys....

the defense is going to be tested these next 4 weeks, if they fail...forget SB, we might not making it past the divisional round. Pass defense has to show some improvement and fast.

and he still has the same amount of Pass TDs/pass yards/completion % as Hurts and less turnovers...Purdy does have moxie, he's better than I thought...I've been watching him the last few games

Yeah they said Miami were going to roast our secondary too.

How is pass attempts against even a defensive statistic?  If we were blowing teams out 40 - zip at the half every game I guarantee we'd be up at the top of the pass attempts against numbers. Our dreadful secondary has allowed a whole 11 receptions more than San Fran on 18 more attempts

How many wins do the Chiefs, Bills, 49ers and Cowboys have?  Now how many do we have?

or you know take up your rainbow flag and go and root for San Fran.

No, you can't say the same thing (about beating winning teams) because the Eagles have beat teams with winning records, the Cowboys have not.

The rest of your post was a series of negative spin & fear about an 8-1 team. Yes there are concerns. Have you seen other teams this year? They're all flawed, they all have concerns.

The 49ers lost three straight before their recent win. The Cowboys have yet to beat a team with a winning record, and the Bill only beat Miami, but people are acting like the Eagles might not make the playoffs? Heck Houston right now is looking like they have a better chance to make the playoffs than the Bills or should I call them the Nills.
