Embiid, Harper, Hurts, Maxey, Wheeler, Kelce, Johnson, Brown, etc.. Has there ever been an era of Philly sports with this much raw talent? Procus Posted April 16 Share Posted April 16 1980's - no doubt. The Eagles played above their talent level due to the shear will of Vermeil. But the Phillies team was like an All-Star team when the won the Series and the pennant 3 years later. And the Flyers still had a good core left from the Stanley Cup years.
