November 20, 20232 yr The Carters seem like genuinely good people. Often when people are married this long, and one passes away, the other follows shortly thereafter. Praying for peace for the Carter family.
November 28, 20232 yr RIP. Jimmy made it to the service, but the few pictures I saw seems he will be right behind her.

November 29, 20232 yr it's not like the gop ever made a controversy over someone wearing tan. EDIT - actually nevermind that nonsense. there's other threads for it. RIP

There's a whole article on it and debate on X. Some says it's disrespectful. https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/melania-trumps-color-choice-rosalynn-155225590.html Melania Trump's Color Choice at Rosalynn Carter's Funeral Sparks a First Lady Wardrobe Debate On Tuesday, all five of the living former first ladies attended the memorial service in honor of Rosalynn Carter. The wife of former President Jimmy Carter passed away on Nov. 19 at the age of 96, but it’s not her honorable life everyone is talking about — it’s Melania Trump’s choice of wardrobe. During the service, the women were in the front row in order of their years in the White House, except for Dr. Jill Biden, who sat next to her husband, President Joe Biden. The women, Michelle Obama, Laura Bush, Hillary Clinton, and Jill, chose to wear an all-black ensemble to honor Rosalynn, but Donald Trump’s wife is being called out for wearing a light gray coat instead — some people felt like it was "disrespectful” to those in mourning.

I guess Bill and Hillary were disrespectful then for what they wore at Barbara Bush's funeral. It gets to the point that when stuff like this is being raised, it only weakens the credibility of those claiming "disrespect".
