He’s kind of replacement level these days but would come cheap and our linebacker group is so thin it makes sense to me.

Is he fully recovered from his surgery? Messing with nerves in the back is tricky and a full recovery isn't always what happens.

I mean I doubt that they just released Barnett without someone in mind to sign...

ITB made a good point earlier today.  If a team is willing to eat a 6 million dollar cap number just to get him off of that team and no other NFL team wants to take him off of the waiver list and pay a big chunk of salary, that's a whole parade of red flags.  Not saying we should get him.  Just don't expect too much if we do.

I think they almost need to pull the trigger with Leonard! They need a body in there and he’s a body with talent and production in the NFL.

Hope we get Williams back this week. Need all hands on deck. Noticeable drop off vs the run with him and then Cunningham going down.

If Leonard is 100% healthy, then I agree. If he's not, then depth at TE is a good consolation prize.
