No I don’t think there’s any choice. Sign him now and get him ready for Dallas (as there’s next to no chance he would play meaningful time on Sunday).

So, did he leave without signing or have they trapped him at Nova Care until he does sign?

Is Leonard even worth the look?

Right, 2 back surgeries within 5 months, chances are he isn't worth a damn.

Oh boy...i guess its up to Christian Ellis now...fingers crossed.

I typically take all "reports" like this with a huge grain of salt (I don't see how Baldy would have inside info on this).

Well that sucks if true.

If so, then it has more to deal with money I guess?  Either way, i'm not going to lose any sleep over the decision.

If he prefers the Cowboys then he’s not very smart and he’s not looking at the bigger picture. I’d have thought he would want to join a SB contender.

Taking the physical means the Eagles is serious enough to check out his health.  Our HC has history with him at the Colts, which may not mean much on his decision.  At the end, he has to weigh the factors and decide.  It looks that we are going to play the 49ers with the guys already on the roster.

I live in Charlotte. The Panthers-Bucs game is on at 4:30. SF-Philly is such a big game that FOX WILL BE PLAYING IT INSTEAD OF THE HOME TEAM IN MY AREA.

For biased reasons I love it, for practical reasons this should never happen

I think it comes down to what happens when Cunningham and Dean are healthy, he may not have a starting job and if he wants to play (I think one of the reasons he asked for his release) he may not see Philly as a fit. The Cowboys have a hole at LB'er for the rest of the season and if he plays well he can turn it into another pay day

I wish Howie and the eagles would change philosophy on linebackers......this constant turnstile of 1 year deals, late draft picks, cast offs and band-aids gets frustrating......I don't know why they think so little of the position.

Are  you not satisfied with the Eagles record over the past few years?

Yea, its annoying.  But it's hard to argue with the results.

Extremely satisfied.

But, I want parades! LOMBARDI TROPHIES!!!!!!

Wins are great, but, damn, maybe if they had better LBs they would have won last years SB. Maybe. :flex:

During the team of Andy Reid and Joe Banner, they constantly ignored free safety, that Blaine Bishop signing cost eagles an NFC championship.

Now the current management is constantly ignoring quality LBs for the last 7-8 years...

I'm pretty much over it at this point, I think the Eagles should have walked away when said he wanted to mull it over during the weekend

It's not like the guy is some highly coveted FA that just hit the market, he's a washed LB looking to ride the coattails of a Superbowl contender

We will be ok with Cunningham if he can stay healthy.

Well, Bryce Paup isn't in the league anymore, so we're good there...

What stakes for tomorrow.  If we win then we get an All Pro LB to sign with us.  If we lose then we also see this All Pro LB sign with our direct rivals who we are playing for the division the following weekend.

A loss has potential to really suck tomorrow.

He's out this week and it sounds like he will be out at least 2 weeks.
