Fitzgerald? 😀

I'd feel better if we'd at least showed up last night.

I fear that we did

He obviously is a different player post surgeries/injuries.  Nerve damage is a different animal than ligaments and tendons.  I do have some faith that they’ve vetted him and determined that 60,70 percent Shaq is better than what we have on the roster.  And, who knows, maybe the prognosis is good for his explosion to return after a full recovery.

Here’s to hoping that the FO is starting to see the light after and will take a hard look at Trotter, Jr in the draft and maybe see if Hurts can restructure/tweak his contract a bit to free up some space for better defensive players on the back end when free agency starts.

Eagles had to do something to address the defense, and can’t fault them for taking a chance with a former 3 time All Pro linebacker, *even if he has no feelings in his extremities*

And Frank Gore, you know, to be deactivated weekly as we stubbornly pass the ball 50 times a game.

He's washed, but better than what we have.

Between he and Cunningham coming back, maybe we can count on very minimal improvement in the pass D

Be prepared:  this guy is not the savior of the defense or a huge signing.  They have trash at LB and the guys that are half decent are hurt. This is going after what decent scraps are available in December.

But you know guys are going to whine and complain that he's not dominating in Dallas after a few days and a couple practices with the team.

Good.

Best available option.

At this point he is a below average starting linebacker, but that is still better than what we have.

Good and necessary move.

This is good.  Now Ertz please.  Every little bit helps.

Crazy....the man just gets it done.

Please don't tell me you praising Howie, it's his foolishness that has the defense looking like a pop warner defense.....I bet his dumb arse now know the importance of the LB and DB positions.

Bottom line, it's crazy that a NFL GM doesn't value LBs, DBs, and RBs, it like only OL, DL, and WRs matter, Lurie need to show his arse and his analytic gurus the door.

After that debacle we needed some help and some good press.

They did, the team was grossly overrated, they could easily have a .500 or worse record.

I hope he genuinely helps but I think it's too little, too late at the LB'er position.

Hard to argue this

Unfortunately,  that philosophy won this team it's first super bowl.  Going to take alot of years of failure before this front office and owner make any changes. If you followed the off season after Doug was let go, the owner made it very clear he wanted to have a offensive minded coach that valued the passing game above all.

Howie/Lurie will always invest the cap on Oline, Dline, WR and fill in the rest later.

He'll have a FF this week!

I've always said that Lurie was football ignorant, the old adage is correct, offense puts fans in the seats, defense puts trophies in the trophy case.

I wasn't sure if I'd imagined it, but they really didn't throw at Bradberry ... after all that talk.

He's so trash, he didn't even have any targets thrown at him.  What a loser!  (well not that they needed to with Morrow on the field to be picked on).

200 yards and 2 TDs on the LBs alone smh. That doesn't even include the rushing my lord.

As I said in the other thread, you can't really expect LBs to cover Samuel, CMC, and co., but you can expect your LBs to finish tackles and that was the part that hurt the most.

Morrow struggled watching live but if that's accurate, wow. He was even worse than he looked live (which was that he didn't belong on the field). The LBs giving up 200+ yards between them is why we needed Leonard who just needs to be not awful to be an upgrade.

As an aside, they also really need to take out Ricks and give those snaps to Sydney Brown. Awful stats for only playing 5 snaps.

Strange.  How did the defenses look in the last two SBs the Eagles were in?

The defenses looked horrible in both SBs, lucky for them the Pats defense didn't look good either, that's why the won, unlucky for them Kcs defense played well, that's why they lost.
