Have the Eagles even played a complete game this year?

At least there were no turnovers 😄

Mate you haven't felt good about something in every game all year.

For good reason we just got embarrassed. You can’t keep playing close games. We got found out and our D is a joke that isn’t going to get better.

Looking forward to dropping to about 27 in the power rankings on Tuesday.

Small victories. They will make up for it next week when they have 5.

They're going to get players back and they're going to get less tired though. It's the worst game they've played all season by a street.

Then why are some people surprised by this loss?

Terrible loss but not the end of the Universe.   Eagles were on a crazy run.  Seasons far from over.  5 games left, let's finish with a 3rd 5 Game Winning Streak.  The Eagles had  2 game lead on the Conference.   They built up some wiggle room but now they will have to finish strong to maintain the #1 Seed.

Agreed... Beat Dallas and Seattle and we're in business

When did thid fanbase become so soft? Good grief, all teams lose games, this isn't college football. Hold up your hands, accept we lost because we deserved to.... I swear, a taste of success has killed this fanbase

Yes they all lose...but context matter.

You don't get your ass beat by a team most are saying are better then you and just say oh geez after they do indeed obliterate you.

They arent in the same league as the Niners.

Insane argument.

It went in our favor before (though not close to this abomination of officiating) but that doesn‘t mean the refs aren‘t to blame for this one.

This was so bad the game became impossible to win.

Receivers getting tackled at will without ever looking back, absurd lineup bs on Sweat, the late hit on Hurts all the while the holdings were so bad it even got called out on a totally biased broadcast.

Fool yourself all you like but this was complete BS.

Brown was getting held all day, at least twice in the end zone, Watkins was interfered with. Sweat wasn’t offsides. Aiyuk’s ball hit the ground and moved.

They dominated us but it should’ve been much closer. Tackling was atrocious. Middle of the field was wide open all day. Eagles defense was dominated.

49ers likely became front runners after that beat down.

Shanahan is really good at exploiting other teams weaknesses

BJ's creative ceiling is QB designed runs and WR screens, Siri's defense of him is making me begin question his crediblity

The guy has got to go, Eagles need to bring a veteran OC next year

100 agree with this thread. We need upgrades at both coordinator positions in the offseason. We have too much talent to have these cut rate coordinators.

Don't forget that he was one of the whiners from last year too, so he is scum.

I at least thought the Eagles would make a game of it but it was never really close.

Every year since we won the super bowl the defensive philosophy has been to rush rush rush, play off secondary and hope the offense scores enough. How long can that last? It was exposed big time today.

Sorry people, but whatever excuses some of you may make, good teams don’t lose this badly in big games like this. I’d take a 3 or 7 point loss and accept this, but not an absolute drubbing. Especially against a team that trashed you all off season up until today. Especially in your own house. We’re a good team, but we’re just not as good as them. There’s no excuses. We have a decent team, but we have some significant flaws which were exposed badly today. We still haven’t played a complete game at all, all season. I don’t know if we can play a complete game cause it’s always something when you have too many question marks both with players and with coaching. No cohesion all year, but somehow we overcame all that……until today.  We’re making the playoffs, but at this point that’s all I can say. The next two games will test us and our potential fragility even further.
As of now, all roads go through SF as long as they stay healthy. And as of now, we’re just a good team who got their lights punched out real badly and are a distant 2nd place.

We’re stuck with these coordinators for years because once they get exploited no one will want them.

Key is how do they fix the issues down the stretch? Better to have the loss now than in January.

Getting Dean and Cunningham back will help. For the struggles he had in the pas game, the run D has been worse since Dean was injured again. The tackling was also pretty bad. Reddick dominated in the first quarter and then disappeared, the dline as a whole seemed tired and it gave Purdy time. When he was under pressure he didn't look great and they started trying to work the quick throws to counter the pressure.

The 49'ers d-line wasn't getting a ton of pressure on Hurts considering how much they've invested, the back end held up extremely with their zone scheme and they had coverage sacks. Being so inefficient in the RZ early really hurt.

I didn't expect them to win today but I didn't expect them to get beat this badly. It's probably the loss they needed to have and the Dallas game is a must win now

I think we need to still use a RB to chip an edge rusher before going out for a pass. While the line held up , it felt like the pocket was too small for his comfort.

Dude… this D is bad and the O struggles in patches.

Not at all...and the defense has actually been this bad all season....we all knew (at least, some of us did) that it would catch up with us....

San Fran talked smack and came in our house and b*tch slapped us around....like a pimp who didn't get his money....

Yup 49ers just proved what they’ve been saying all along. They came out with fire in the first and just forgot their was more to play.

Context does, indeed, matter. In this case, we came through a hell of a stretch with one loss in a period many fans would have taken a .500 record. We still have the best record in the league after playing several heavy hitters back to back to back. That's why I am chliled about the loss.

Guys I’ve just realised… I’m so sorry I’m to blame for the loss. We’ve lost two games this year and I’ve been in the States for both. So you’ll be glad to know I won’t be back in the season.
