But it happens. The Eagles still control their own destiny. Win next week and we still have an excellent chance at being the #1 seed. Even if we lose, we should still win the division. Dallas has Detroit, Miami and Buffalo.

I think it’ll be close. I think we lose the next two and win out with our remaining schedule.

They were allowed to hold and interfere with wrs alllll game. Not just Quez

I saw it. The Eagles played tired. Why can't they tackle still??? There were penalties, we didn't have any semblance of an offense.

The game pretty much turned when the Eagles stopped running the ball.

Our OC is a knucklehead. Nick needs to tap him on the shoulder every now and then to remind him that we have a really good running game.

Swift had 6 carries?????

OMFG.

This was a game for Perry and then Gainwell but nope, pass, pass, pass….just like three four years ago. I don’t think that is BJ….that is  Sirianni

Was really hoping we’d match up but they exposed us and are clearly a better team.  Sucks.  We have a lot of things to clean up.  I don’t think our DB’s and Safeties are talented enough.  Our LB’s are CLEARLY not talented enough.  We have a ton of talent on the DLine but they’re not making a big impact.  It must be Desai (to a larger extent). But maybe some of the DLine players just aren’t as elite as we thought…Whatever the case may be, even when we get to the playoffs, at this point, I would not feel very confident that we would win games.

This game was over when they settled for those 2FGs in the first quarter.

Remember 10 weeks ago when we ran Swift 25 times down the throats of the Vikes? It was glorious.

So why didnt we do that this game? Its week 14. What are we saving Swift for?

So were we though, we just don't play aggressive to take advantage.

Who the hell can Ricks hold…he’s already way outta position 🤣🤣🤣🤣 what are you talkin about😂😂😂

This team STILL can't play 4 quarters of football. They got away with it too many times this year. That's not going to work in the playoffs. That's on the coaches AND players. Something has to change.

Unfortunately nothing is going to change this late in the season.

I think not having Goedert really hurt us down in the redzone...there was no one open.

I think Reese and Seth said thats a sign of that fatigue settin in for playing three games in such a short time…particularly missed tackles in the 2nd half. Probably why Davis was taken out a lot as well.

I agree...but man, I have not been impressed with this O-line in a while and Swift is getting chopped down easily on contact.

Also BJ was horribly uncreative again down in the redzone. While on the other hand Kyle was like throwing out the kitchen sink with all these razzle dazzle plays. Its obvious which team wanted this more.

Guys, I feel that this loss is solely on me. At the end of the 1st quarter, I cracked one of my Eagles glasses when pulling it out of the freezer, I crap you not.

My heart sank it when it happened, I was gifted a set of four for our Superbowl victory.

I'm afraid I jinxed the rest of the season. Do I just throw it away, bury it or cut my lip on it and offer it my blood to atone for my misgivings 😆

More of a commitment to the run would help.

On D, I just dunno. I think Reddick and Sweat are playing too many snaps which means pass rush goes quiet for stretches. LB's is a talent issue, and secondary is part-coaching, part-talent. They need to throw more variation on 3rd-and-long looks. Too often is soft coverage and a guy running free.

Leaves room for necessary alcohol consumption now.

The slip sack was a huuuuge play early.

But equally  the inability to stop them on any one of like 20 third downs.

Anyone not concerned after that is just trying to convince themselves.

Am I concerned, sure. This team is far from perfect.

Would I have taken 3-1 in a slate of Cowboys, Chiefs, Bills and 49ers four weeks ago. Absolutely.

This game limits our room for error going forward, and there are a few things they need to quickly find answers for which have been recurring all year and they are yet to solve.

I'll never understand the Penny decision. He's wasting away on the sidelines while we rely on Oompa Loompas to get tough yards between the tackles

They are not a good tackling team. Sydney Brwn continue to not wrap up. Thinking he can just hit hard. Blankenship bounces off rushers.

Sorry people, but whatever excuses some of you may make, good teams don’t lose this badly in big games like this. I’d take a 3 or 7 point loss and accept this, but not an absolute drubbing. Especially against a team that trashed you all off season up until today. Especially in your own house. We’re a good team, but we’re just not as good as them. There’s no excuses. We have a decent team, but we have some significant flaws which were exposed badly today. We still haven’t played a complete game at all, all season. I don’t know if we can play a complete game cause it’s always something when you have too many question marks both with players and with coaching. No cohesion all year, but somehow we overcame all that……until today.  We’re making the playoffs, but at this point that’s all I can say. The next two games will test us and our potential fragility even further.
As of now, all roads go through SF as long as they stay healthy. And as of now, we’re just a good team who got their lights punched out real badly and are a distant 2nd place.

Speaking in general terms. The saints blew out the buccaneers and the niners blew out the rams the years both teams went to the SB beating both teams to get there(both teams were swept in reg season ). So being blown out isn’t a death sentence to the season.

I can’t say I didn’t see a loss coming but not like this especially since there were 0 turnovers. They’re gonna have to go nuclear and bring in Reich to try to salvage this offense bc nothing can be done talent wise to fix the defense.

They are going to have to win out but they have tough road games in Dallas and Seattle. I guess(?) fortunately the Arizona game is in Philly.

Defense was toast from last week. A shame but you could just see they were worn.

Thank Avonte Maddox that gets hurt every season and we have to field rookies in the secondary.

Both undersized in matchups like this
