As bad as Blankenship can be, he’s asked to save a lot of TDs

He is a safety…he gave  up ground to his man in the end zone when he didn’t have…to already knowing he’s kinda slow.

Sid Jalen Carter even play today?

He played. Not sure why they limited his snaps. It looks like he lost his cool a few times during the game, and Siri was shown on the sidelines trying to calm him down.

We beat the Dolphins, Cowboys, Chiefs, and Bills. Had I asked you the outcome of those games before the season, you’d have given us at least one loss.

True. I had a loss to the Chiefs. I actually had the Birds winning this one and losing the next two. I was wrong. We got humiliated and stomped on today by the 9’ers and if they’re healthy and we face them in the NFC title game, we probably will see the same result we saw today. I don’t like it, but I’m a realist

How about "when they’re healthy” for The Eagles…when they’re healthy and rested, how do you feel then?

Saw two slants gash the niners tonight. Both quick passes that took no time at all. Next thing you know offense goes back to 6 step drops and deep routes on literally every play. Running the football is basic football IQ as well. I think BJ hates it to be honest.

Brian Johnson sucks as a playcaller and his designs haven't been much better. Sad this is the record is going to cover all this up and we will not have any coaching changes unless some other team is dumb enough to poach this guy after the season.

Apparently the Panthers are interested in him. But even if he goes who is hiring these guys? Why are they picking people with no experience as OC/DC?

They can have him. Feel free to take Desai with him.

Anyone else still pissed?

I’m not sure I’m there. I’m more embarrassed to be honest.

Yeah that too.  Losing sucks, but losing in a way which basically looks like a glimpse of what to come during the playoffs makes it harder to swallow.

Agreed. A lot of us felt that a game like that was coming and was overdue. This team hasn’t played well all year and it just got handled by one of its biggest NFC rivals. Not good.

No and I don't think it gets better.

Well, as we learned from the 49ers, if you have minority coordinators who get hired as head coaches, you get multiple third round comp picks so maybe that would be a good thing.

Here’s the thing… We’ve said this all freaking year so why would they suddenly correct that?

Yep, maybe a blowout makes the coaches realise how much of an issue some of these are things and need to be corrected. Necessity breeds innovation

It’s called payback for last year.  What did become clear is we need a gameplan for Deebo, just like Kelce on KC and CeeDee next week.  Fortunately, the schedule gives us four weeks to prepare for the playoffs so enough time for the coaches to match wits and earn their pay.

What became clear for me is this entire defense needs to be stripped down and a rebuild needs to begin.  Aside from Reddick, Carter, Davis and maybe Sweat, there's no one on this defense I'd be upset if they lost in the off-season.

I’ll just say, it’s the same thing as with Swartz…you don’t have the personnel for pressing…the secondary is slower and smaller.

Not having the personnel for pressing would be a front office failure.  You can't just let receivers run free for easy pitch and catch in the short passing game.  That defense is only acceptable if it's 3rd/4th down & 20 yards needed.

Payback for what?  Them not protecting their QB and losing, and then being cheap dirty and classless this whole game?

It is what it is

This loss pretty much makes the Cowboys game a must win.

Not really. They have a tougher go of it in the final stretch, whereas we could win out. It may be a must win if you want the #1 seed, but for the division? Not so much. I still think the whiners could drop 2 more games before its all done, but we're still in control of our own destiny.

Then they hire some new guys or promote from within that do the same damn thing. There's a pattern here but one constant.

Nah they have to win this dallas game and seattle game to keep the pressure on. Dont want to bank on other teams losing.

A lot of it has been teams getting favorable matchups against the LBs and Safeties or picking on whoever is in the slot.

Well the Chiefs lost to the 6-6 Packers. So there's that.

What happened to the slant passes that worked early?

Why does Hurts needs 10 seconds to heave a ball?

This offense should be loaded with quick plays to receivers.  There's no need to call plays that require development for 5 seconds every time.
