Surprised its only 3.5

Oh welp there goes HFA

What HFA? After the game against the 49ers the Eagles have worse numbers at home than they do on the road this season.  They were only +1ish point difference before the 49ers game at home, now it's like -22ish, that's not an advantage

It's week 13. They are what they are at this point in the season.

I'd be more surprised if the Eagles win this game versus the Cowboys boat racing the Birds.

The thing is if the Eagles are thinking this Cowboys game is going to be somehow "easier" than the 49ers game...they are delusional.

They need to play like 3x better than last week, ie pretty much perfect, to be able to win.

The offense needs to be more creative than anything we've seen all year. They have to run the ball.

The defense has to probably be at least competent, and allow less than 50% of 3rd down conversions.

Don't have much faith either way.

They have never played a "complete" game this year. Why would it happen now?

I’m surprised it is only 3.5. That’s a very very favourable line.

Dallas are really good in Dallas. They are a really bad match up for us. And we are really bad in Dallas.

It’s a bit like Dallas in the play offs. Until we prove we can win in Dallas I can’t trust that we will.

Our Defense can't stop anyone unless opposing O's drop passes or shoot themselves in the foot which has happened often this year (we've been very lucky in that regard). Dak has a history of good performances against the Eagles D and they are home. We are going to have to win a shootout to have a chance and I don't have the confidence that our coaching staff can come up with a great game-plan at the moment. Unless Jalen of 2023 starts resembling pre-injury Jalen of 2022, Dallas will drop back everyone just like San Fran did and dare us to beat them with the run. Would not shock me to see Jalen throw 50+ times this game which will lead right into Dallas' hands. The good news is that we get Dallas Goedert back which will greatly help our Offense overall. We would need a 100% Goedert back to make a true impact though and I'm not sure he's there yet. Prediction Dallas 31 Eagles 24 ... obviously I hope I'm completely wrong, but at this point I have zero confidence in our Defense.

Hopeful that buttwhoopin' last Sunday lights a fire under their arses so that they come out angry on Sunday and whoop Dallas.  🙏

You're all forgetting Dak Prescott has all the bottle of a limp stick of celery

I'm not saying the Eagles are winning the SB but the Buccaneers weren't all that great in 2020 and found something toward the end of the year, got hot and went on a run to win the SB.  Other teams have done the same.

We will see.

How they respond to that arsewhoopin' will speak volumes to what exactly this team is really made of.  Come out Sunday night and punch Dallas in the mouth and will consider that performance against SF a fluke and that we are a better team than what we showed.  If we come out flat (again) against Dallas and they whoop our butts too then I think it is safe to say that most of the concerns many were expressing all season (even while we were winning) were legit ... that the flawed process by which we were winning games would catch up to us against the better teams.  Flawed process meaning, offense looking like trash for 30 minutes, complete lack of creativity, horrible balance, basically relying on Hurts to bail them out every week to lead them to a W.

Did you see a statement that Johnson made, how the Eagles will emphasize a run game in the future?

If the Eagles do that, we have a shot at beating Cowboys.

By no means I am praising Johnson, and I wish his S gets fired. But if the entire team attacks and keeps Cowboys offense on the sidelines, while tiring out Cowboys D.... We got a chance to win.

Yeah im hoping for something similar to that 2006(?) win in Dallas where we just out physicaled them.

Westbrook had 25 carries for 122 yards. When was the last time we saw a stat like that from one of our RBs? Ie a lot of rushes but not a ton of yards.

I dont think we can get close to something like that, this team just doesnt have that grind it out mentality anymore, but heck our RBs needs to get at least 20+ carries if we gonna have any chance.

Dak is going to go off and Lamb will have a career day. Dak seems to always have good games against Philly and they have been winning at home. This one’s likely over before it starts.

I noticed Dak only does that weird count where he keeps lifting his legs when he plays us....why is that?

Pretty much exactly what we expected and how it went based on everything we saw this season......we were legit with our concerns....

Yep! But you can’t say that because that makes you a hater and makes you negative. Instead you’ve got to pretend that all is fine and you’ve got to ignore what we’ve seen week after week.

Exactly....I didn't watch after the first quarter because I knew it was coming.....I just paid attention to the score through the google app....we have been saying this all season but alot of people don't listen and are delusional....the last time this defense looked this bad was before Jim Johnson...but this team is overall not good.....

We’ve seen a team struggle all year. The issues we are seeing now are not new. We are just being punished for them now that’s the difference. This team is an average team right along with most of the league and that’s the reality.

Yep.  Frauds.

Not a surprising outcome.  This team needs to get better quick and close the season strong.  Keep waiting on them to peak when it may have already happened.

It already happened ... in 2022.

These past 2 weeks pretty much prove they've been frauds while sitting atop the NFL all season and lucking their way into wins.

Steichen leaving is such an underrated loss.  6 points from the offense last night ... just pathetic.  Johnson is in way over his head.  And players don't seem to be wanting it more than the other guys (3 fumbles from 3 of your biggest playmakers?!?!).

They can still win the NFCE by winning out, but is there anything about the way this team has been playing that seems to suggest we are going to do that, despite the level of competition?  And with the way this team is playing, we aren't going to do anything in the postseason ... we're just going to get smoked by the better teams.

We all knew wild comebacks and close wins was unsustainable ... here we are.

Agree, but let's get to the playoffs and see.  The last two weeks have not been good, but maybe it was a wake up call.  Time will tell .

Many seemed to think San Fran was a wake up call. The defense was…better, but I use that term loosely. It seemed more Dallas got bored. The offense got worse.

The last few weeks have just been a grind.  Maybe, we are just worn down and will catch on.  I'm hopeful that last year's offensive success is in there somewhere.

I'm more concerned with defense. Howie's LB exchange program looks like it may be the killer.

Yeah I think this offense can turn things around. We’ve seen the offense perform at a high level more often this year. There’s been issues no doubt but the talent is there it’s been game planning and play calling.

The defense though is a major concern!
