The Eagles were handed their second loss of the season on Sunday evening at Lincoln Financial Field at the hands of the San Francisco 49ers.

After a dominant first quarter, the Eagles defense struggled, allowing touchdowns on six straight possessions en route to a 42-19 defeat.

Ahead of Reaction Monday on SportsRadio 94 WIP, here is the instant reaction from some of the hosts:

1. "I can't wait to play the Niners again," James Seltzer.

2. The 23-point differential is the most lopsided loss of Jalen Hurts's career. He previously lost to the Cowboys by 20 in 2020 and 2021.

3. "That was a horrendous loss for the Eagles. The Dallas game just became a must-win game," Eliot Shorr-Parks.

4. Darius Slay and James Bradberry are not the elite corners they were last year. The Eagles secondary is a legit concern.

5. "This team needed to be humbled, especially the head coach. This was mostly a schedule loss, but the red flags that were raised this year were relevant today," Jack Fritz.

6. "The amount of people seemingly jumping off the bandwagon after one bad loss for a team that is 10-2 is a pretty bad look for a portion of the fan base. I get being frustrated, but this is still a good football team," Tom Kelly.

7. "This is not a championship level defense," Joe Giglio.

8. If the Eagles want to win the NFC, they have to stop Christian McCaffrey. They might need Shaq Leonard to do that.

9. "Gotta flush this one. On to Dallas," Jon Marks.

10. Despite the Loss, the Eagles still have the best record in the NFL for the 31st-consecutive week dating back to Week 1 of 2022.
