It seems awfully quiet around here for a Dallas week. Who could blame most people after that home loss where we never seemed to get in stride and we couldn't stop them to get back in the game. We were 0-1 last week. Time to forget it and move on. It's Dallas week and we could be 0 for the season and I'd want this win.

We're still the #1 team in the league.

Still #1 in the division,

Still #1 in your hearts,

Still saying F Dallas.

Let's do what we are good at, let's rip the heart out of their puffed out chests and send that fan base into a great depression. Why? Cause F Dallas.

I have to say… F Dallas! Absolutely F Dallas.

It's a long season and although the eagles are 10-2, they have shown some serious issues with inconsistency and poor play calling.

I'm not one to get worked up over style points like driving the score up or a lot of flashy plays.  I want to see a consistency and good situational play calls.

The eagles have done what they had to do this year at important times in the game.  And I don't think the 49ers are a better team. I think the eagles were tired with 3 games in 13 days and the 49ers had 10 days rest.  At this time of year in the NFL, that's a big advantage.

I think the eagles talent is compromised by a poor coordinator.....

This game is actually a huge game.......if the eagles lose, they lose the first round bye position if SF beats seattle.  I'm more concerned about that than the eagles being tied with the cowpies.....the cowpies have to play miami, buffalo, detroit and Washingoton down the stretch......they're going to lose at least one or two of those games.

Everybody is expecting a cowpie win.....but this is the NFCE.....and some really crazy things have happened over the years that tell me nobody knows what's going to happen.

The players know they got dominated and know they need to get things back on track. Siri says they're gonna make changes, we'll see if it's just words or not.

But anytime you play Dallas the mindset is the same.

A bunch of camp bodies trying to make the Superbowlz.

It's been a blah Dallas week for me:

  • Dakota Prescott is something like 8-3 against the Birds.
  • Dallas has won like 14 straight home games.
  • Dallas has a really really good Offense.
  • Eagles have a horrible pass Defense.
  • Eagles are playing another game against a good team coming off a bye week.
  • Eagles seen to never sweep Dallas.

All of this (am I missing anything?) sounds like BIG trouble for our Iggles.

Superbowlzzzz? They must be on their way to the airport?

We all hate Dallas but after the butt whooping last week and seeing the 49ers offense go off do we actually believe the d can stop Dallas? 6 straight tds… let that sink in.

Because most people expect a repeat of last week's bludgeoning, they will play way over their heads this week.

I think it’s been subdued because most of us have taken a few days to process the fact the niners beat us so comprehensively on Sunday. I’ve been in a bit of mood over it.

Hopefully they don't embarrass themselves; I have no faith in Sirianni and co.

It's quiet because some Eagles fans are clearly spoiled by all the success of the last two years. They've been winning like Crazy for two years straight.  One bad loss and some people are acting like the sky is falling. It was a bad game, it happens.  This team has been through the hardest NFL Schedule after losing the Super Bowl and they are the only team in the NFL With Double Digit Wins.  Our Schedule is called "The Gauntlet" for a reason.   They have won in so many ways over these last two years.  News Flash, After winning the Super Bowl in 2018, the Eagles finished the next Season 9-7 in the Wild Card and took Nick to save the day again.

Back in 2004 after the Super Bowl Loss, Andy, Donovan and the Eagles had a disastrous season in 2005.  The next year after  Super Bowl Run is always challenging but especially for the team that lost. The Eagles have the Best Record in the NFL after losing the Super Bowl.  I think they've earned the benefit of the Doubt even after a bad Home loss.   They are still the battle tested team we've watched for two years.  I have lost zero faith.   Two New Coordinators, changes on Defense with more Youth.  The Hardest Schedule in the NFL.  The Media and many were sure about a "Super Bowl Hangover".   But now they are are speechless because the Eagles actually have a better record than KC who they lost to in the Super Bowl.   As soon as the loss was over, I knew they were about to bring it to the Cowboys and they will.  They bounced back against Miami after the Jets.  Now they will have to do it again.

When is this team finally tired of the excuses? Of just being "ok"? Of just winning by "luck"? When are they finally going to prove to themselves and everyone else they can "put it all together" when they have to?

If not this week, WHEN?

I think the Eagles may surprise a lot of people Sunday night.  They have an awfully good record coming off a loss and are getting healthier.  Also have a 7-0 record with this referee.  Don't be surprised if the Eagles embarrass the Cowboys.

I hope and pray you are right. I don’t see it as I think this is such a bad match up for us but I hope you are right. This team just needs to respond because back to back losses to play off teams is going to create a very bad week!

Agree.  A bit tough because this one is in Dallas but I think the Eagles look a lot different tonight then they did last week.

If they win convincingly, the conspiracy theory side of me is going to start thinking they intentionally overlooked the SF game to prepare for Dallas.

But now I'm getting ahead of myself :nonono:

The tears from a dallas loss today would be so tasty. You know they're thinking #1 seed and superbowl. A statement win today would crush that fan base. It would leave me on cloud nine for a couple weeks.

They are playing their 5th straight "game of the week" (yes 1 bye in there) and 4th straight where the other team has a period of elongated rest.  They are simply worn down.  I hope they can hold up tonight but the real critical game is next week.

I mean, they pretty much took last week off so they should be well rested 😆

F Dallas! F the 49ers. Move on, man up, be ready to roll tonight.
