It does mean something, being a member of a community for so long. No, you don't get anything for it. But I certainly don't disregard it, it's an achievement. 

I've been a member for 22 or 23 years now, joining around 2000 or 2001, back when the board software was really pretty primitive.

1999 for me. Board sure has changed a lot since then. I remember from like 2002-2005 I hated to be away from this place for more than 5 minutes.

I forgot about that, lol. It was more the high intensity drama. Cliques, clones, cyber-bullying... the works. Hard to believe that was in the range of 20+ years ago. Seems like yesterday. We lost some characters along the way.
