Dear Lord…please send us ….someone unknown..with ambition but no name recognition…who might flash their talents before leaving for a more fruitful pastures on another team.
January 2, 20241 yr Yep. I’ve seen enough. Dropping our top (elite) pass rusher into coverage 7 times against one of the worst offenses in the NFL is inexcusable.

Any D-Coordinator would look bad with these guys. There might be personnel issues but there are defenses in the NFL with worse personnel doing much better. Dropping Reddick into coverage 7 times against the Cardinals (one of the worst offenses in the NFL) should be enough to move on.

The decision to change play callers, in hindsight, looks completely idiotic and should be a much larger talking point. Ding ding ding, Desai did a better than passable job with the personnel he had available, his troubles were against the hottest offenses in the NFL with UDFA's and rookies filling in on the secondary. Whereas we'd have been better off lining up tackle dummies than what Patricia called on Sunday, he couldn't even slow Arizona down never mind stop them.
January 2, 20241 yr I agree it needs to end. They should apologize profusely to Desai and ask him to swallow his pride and coach again. I think both should be gone, but at least the defense tackled under Desai, lol.

January 8, 20241 yr Belichick didn't even want him coaching the defensive side of the ball last year when he was in NE. He was in charge of an inept offense

January 8, 20241 yr Matt Patricia is actively destroying this team. You know who didn't actively destroy the team? Sean Desai. Epic failure in judgement by Nick Sirianni. Nearly unforgivable unless he fires Matty Patty TODAY.

I can agree with this, but then Desai would have had to go BACK to being the DC, and Nick probably didn't want that to happen. How effing stupid would he then look. My assumption is that Nick had NO IDEA how bad Paddy would be as the DC caller. Weren't the Eagles winning at half like 21-6?? Then BOOM, a 3-12 team, on the road, puts up 30 2nd half points on the Eagles D. Unfathomable. WTF happened at halftime, I wonder. I guess the Cards saw something on our D that they could easily exploit, and, once again, the D has no answer to the other teams adjustments. UGH!! It's play calling, it's execution, it's personel, it's scheme, it's injuries, it's Coaching, just a colossal choke job, all around.
January 8, 20241 yr Making the switch to someone new calling the defense with just a couple games left in the season was such a monstrously stupid decision. Having players trying to learn new terminology and new assignments (like Reddick dropping into coverage) ... it takes a full offseason of camps to get comfortable with all that. So far Sirianni is 0-3 in his most recent biggest decisions: 1) hiring Desai, 2) promoting BJ to OC, 3) switching from Desai to Patricia.
January 8, 20241 yr We have beat 6 of the current playoff teams and 3 of em on the road This is a coaching problem

Nick already looks as stupid as he could possibly look for the move in the first place, and it's clear what effect that decision has had on the team. Admitting he was stupid and wrong would be a great first step towards fixing this. Desai wasn't that bad. He was too predictable on 3rd down, but he did ok considering that the back 7 hasn't played well. The LBs are trash per usual, and the guys in the secondary have been inconsistent and injured.

The idiot torpedoed a promising season with a panic move. The guy sucks at scheming an offense and sucks at managing a staff. Plus he sucks at making strategic in game decisions. What exactly then does the clown bring to the table?
January 9, 20241 yr I tried to tell you guys Patricia wasn't the answer, I saw him too many times on the Pats sidelines with that dumbfounded look on his face, him with his stupid pencil in the ear fashion statement. BTW, doesn't Sirianni sport the pencil in the ear thing also? I guess they think that makes them look smart......sorry guys, you can't fool us, we know both of you are dumb sheets.
January 9, 20241 yr I wouldn't mind picking up Riverboat Ron as a D coordinator. Anything is better than what we got of course.
