If you think losing cures all, you haven't watched the league's perennial bottom-feeders.

And at this point this is where we are with Sirianni. He’s lost the team and he’s not going to right the ship.

The teams with the most proven success are teams that don't let a little negative spell cause a knee-jerk reaction every single time and try to build off continuity.

They’ve sucked for nearly 2 months. They’ve been unconvincing all season. This isn’t a little spell. And the way this has fallen apart is historic.

It's premature to put his record at 2-3. BTW, I'm getting sick of the cliche "historic." Everything that has happened is "historic." That's literally what it means.

Yeah and he’s going to get another year on the basis that he’s made the play offs 3 straight years. And look I get that. I just don’t think he can turn it around and I think bringing him back results in a wasted year in 2024. It’s not that we’ve finished as the #5 seed it’s the way we have collapsed and the lack of answers.
January 8, 20241 yr Congratulations to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on being the first 9-8 team to have a bye week in the playoffs.

The team is a joke. Even the Eagles post game show people buried them.
January 8, 20241 yr Sorry, but anyone watching what we just witnessed and thinking they’re just going to turn this mess around is either hopelessly optimistic or just flat out foolish. This is a broken football team that isn’t responding to coaching. They’re finished how they are. They are going to need to bring a head coach in here these guys respect. This team has completely checked out on Sirianni and his temper tantrums.

I expect to see the team that finds a way to win. I'm not going to sit here crying about a predicted negative outcome. Wtf has this team shown you since early November that would even give you any shot of confidence in them? Not only are you delusional...you're deeply in denial about what this team really is. With that said, I'm here to help: This is a poorly coached team with some very deeply flawed roster groups that highly overachieved, starting 10-1 when they realistically should have been 3-8 at best. Since then, those flaws have been exploited to no end by every coach and player they've gone up against. No matter if it's Dak, or Tyrod f'n Taylor, they...are...cooked. It's going to be a very, very interesting off season.

It's not a little losing that is concerning It's the horrible coaching. He has completely lost the team by the way they just don't seem to give a crap effort wise. He also doesn't bring crap to the table in terms of an offensive or defensive mind. He a motivational coach and he has lost that ability now as well. He can't stay after this complete collapse.

January 8, 20241 yr The way some of this fanbase has turned on this team this season has been spectacular. Some of it justified, perhaps, but spectacular nonetheless. Be careful what you wish for, I hear Arthur Smith and Ron Rivera are going to be looking for work

I just can’t see Sirianni being able to turn this around. And that may be unfair and that may be a little unjustified but the way this has fallen apart I just don’t see it.

The worst thing this team can do is stand pat out of fear things can be worse. This team just finished a regular season in which they played a solid 4 quarters in exactly 0 of them.

They can’t sit in fear of getting the next appointment wrong if the current coaching staff aren’t the right answer either.

Be careful what you wish for, I hear Arthur Smith and Ron Rivera are going to be looking for work I understand that everybody is subject to overreact to the negative and judging by the replies that's the state most of the Eagles fans are in. But when reading them, one has to wonder, do these people really believe the things they are writing? If so, here's the ideal scenario in my mind: The Eagles come together as a team and go on and find ways to win in the postseason. The games all remain close, but the Eagles win. All the Eagles fans that have written them off, vowed not to watch /support them, etc... still watch and continue to wallow in their pessimistic miserable delirium. All the so-called "real teams" that lose to them along the way spend the entire offseason in denial, claiming that they were robbed, the Eagles were lucky, and the better team lost, etc... (i.e. the fortywhiners last year). I'll never understand why it's more important to some fans to see the Eagles lose so heads can roll rather than seeing the team turn it's trajectory into something positive. Oh ... I know ... the pessimists are just being "realists."

I don’t think there are many who want us to lose and get embarrassed. I think some see that as being the only way to getting rid of Sirianni so I get that thought process. But we all want them to fix this. We just don’t see that they are going to because they’ve been so bad and such a mess.

The players have been hearing the same stories from the coaches and they just stopped buying in. Players were getting visibly frustrated with their coaching even during games and wins, and now they just look apathetic. All of their games after the gauntlet, they basically had everything to play for and no one really responded. Sadly most of those games were against far lesser opponents. I’m curious to see how these exit interviews will go. How is Sirianni going to sell himself as the guy who can set this right when he’s the guy it floundered under. Which of these groups of players who struggled all season and have visibly quit on these coaches will be the ones hoping they come back?

I do think part of the problem is due to the modern game and players today. And that may be unfair but it feels so much more about money and bonuses these days across the league. Looking at social media yesterday across the league it was more about what players needed to earn their bonus than it was about play off scenarios. I mean is that the world we live in? And therefore players don’t have the same hunger for team success? I don’t know maybe that’s pure conjecture and being unfair.

Yeah I don’t know how much I agree, because The Ravens and 49ers sure do look highly motivated to play football. The Eagles are the team that had a mediocre running back whine on Twitter to fans during halftime with basically no repercussions from his actions. The Eagles are the team that has been loose with the football all year. The Eagles are the ones who have been fooled into thinking that they can simply turn things back on. Yes all year many teams had gone through some kind of adversity, but the good teams pulled out of it. Every good team except the Eagles.

I definitely don't believe the coaching has been perfect nor do I believe the execution on the field has been perfect. I do believe that everybody is capable of doing their part to fix things. We just finished a very frustrating and disappointing regular season stretch and enter the postseason. Here is our chance to see what our team's leaders are all about.

Ok yes yesterday in my anger I said some things that perhaps I’d want to take back. I don’t want this team to lose next week but I think they will. And given the choice between a loss or a heavy loss I’d rather the heavy loss because I think that will more likely force change. And I think they need change. Sure the grass isn’t always greener you are right. We could hire an utter disaster (it happens all the time in every sport) but I don’t think standing still is the right thing to do just because we could get it wrong.
