Posted January 16, 20241 yr Yes. I am digging up diamonds from school I never heard of. This is another @Random Reglar boner doner. This guy started out as a safety at Cornell. He became an Edge for HCU at 6'4'' 248lbs. He is a Patricia wet dream because he looks comfortable not just dropping in to coverage, but also in man coverage. And honestly, while we know Patricia is long gone (but not long enough) who wouldnt want an LB with his versatility and experience? Sometimes LBs have to cover. This guy can do it. I think this is likely a round 7- UDFA due to a lack of edge production at a small school. Normally you want those guys to dominate the competition. But when you watch him fly around he looks like he is going to impress teams in workouts with great athleticism. And you might explain away that lack of production by his lack of experience. He spent 3 years at safety at cornell, and just 1 year at edge, where it also appears he didnt always just rush the passer. This guy may not be ready right away. But he looks like a worthwhile project. The highlights impress me most looking at this edge prospect in coverage. Maybe he is best as a true SAM where you dont have to wait so long for him to develop pass rush technique. When I watch him playing from that stand up position, I think of Connor Barwin.

March 1, 20241 yr Author Showed well at the combine. Could have improved his stock as a complete unknown. He may still be a late round pick, but he will find himself on more draft boards now.
