January 20, 20241 yr man I was JUST watching some highlights. I cant stand to think that some other team is gonna draft this guy (cause you know it wont be us). I have to have him. I know we have a million other needs. And I was gonna be really happy to just do something like re-sign Swift and bring Sanders back. But now I just have to have this guy.

There's probably a good chance we'll miss out on this guys because of how the ignorant analytic arseholes feel about the position. No question we need help on the defensive side of the ball but I think this guy will do more for the defense than any defensive player in the draft. If you have a sorry defense, keep their arses off the field, a strong running game will do that for you. Chances are Benson won't be available when we pick in round 2 but no worries, I actually think Audric Estime is every bit as good as Benson, maybe even better. If both Benson and Estime are gone, there's always Braelon Allen can get the job done also. Here's the thing, the Eagles need to draft a RB either in the 1st (Estime and Benson are worthy of a #1) or in the 2nd since we have 2 #2s, if that doesn't happen I'm going to have a lot of fun ridiculing the stupidity of the FO.

I dont think Estime is in the same stratosphere. Hes a slow poke. I know hes a big back, and we need one of them. But he doesnt excite me at all even as a role player in the big back short yardage role.

I don't think any of these backs will be drafted in the first round. This draft is feeling kind of weak outside of the WRs.

Benson is faster but Estime has better vision, it's a six in one hand, half a dozen in the other from my point of view.
January 21, 20241 yr Getting Benson would be great but the Eagles probably won't go RB early enough to get him. It feels like hoping they draft Trotter, which feels like it's not happening in this universe.

Seems like you was right about the him being a slow poke, I thought he was faster than that, ND must have been playing North West South Dakota State in the highlights I saw.
