Ehhh what if next season is worse? I see a step back and a losing record.

I've always had issues issue with who makes the 53 man roster with the Eagles and I see another example in the list above.

Lew Nichols is exactly the type of back the Eagles need and he didn't make the roster butGainwell did.  Take a look at Nichols' highlights and go figure that one out, Nichols playing style translates to the NFL for sure.

Well he'll have a chance to show what he can do ... he is 1 of only 2 RBs under contract once the new league year starts as Swift, Penny, and Scott are all scheduled to be FAs.  The only other RB on the roster under contract is Gainwell.

Right, the great Kenny Gainwell who's no threat at all......total joke.

I liked him college and he had 5 sacks his second year but since then he hasn't done much to stand out in Detroit. Injuries are partly a factor.

Not a bad guy to take a flyer on and bring into TC.

It's a low risk move at a position of need.

Here’s to Mekhi getting more snaps. Should be all of 6’2 220.

The past season did not end well and not a good send-off for Kelce.  Yet, the upcoming season is not a guaranty to be much better, with changes in coordinators, system and loss of some veterans.  A NFL season is a grind and tough on an older player who plays on the line.  Hard decision for Kelce whichever way he turns.

The Terrell Lewis guy seems interesting.

The name Terrell still induces PTSD symptoms.

If Kelce comes back this team better dedicate the whole season to him.

Honestly can’t see him coming back and I dont think he should

There’s almost definitely going to be a new OC, so I don’t think you can make any judgments right now about how many targets the slot receiver will get next year

Having previously seen Moore offense, I am sure that a slot WR and TE positions will be resurrected. I expect a lot more throws in the middle of the field, compared to last year.

You don’t like Milton Williams?

I think we need DT4

Typically, players signed at this time of year - like throughout the regular season - aren't "big splash" signings. Yet, fans still overreact to them. Howie has done this for years, bringing in guys to compete to see if they can even make the team. They aren't the same as the first couple weeks of free agency. Just because they sign a certain position who is a guy on the street not playing doesn't mean they are done at that position. They are camp bodies or bubble roster guys and most if not all of them will be cut. Similar to undrafted free agents, just collect a bunch of players and see if there's anything there.

The ones to watch are the first weeks of free agency.

  1. DB Mekhi Garner

Mekhi Garner sounds like he make work at S, 6'2'', 212lbs, 4.55, a punishing hitter.

Hitters are what the Eagles lack on defense.

Give me sure tacklers over big hitters any day.
